The Otak is a spicy egg custard with fish and wrapped in banana leaf and BBQ. This is one of the better Otak that I have tasted. It is slightly spicy and has a soft texture & not too much flour. You can actually see pieces of fish meat. It is cheap at 80 cents each. It goes well with rice or toasted bread.The main item here is the Curry Puff. I like the spicy curry chicken and potatoes inside this curry puff, but I find the pastry too thick. It would have been better if the pastry is thinner & when fried it will be crispy. It is not too expensive at $1 each.

If you cannot take spicy food, this is not definitely for you. I particularly like the crust as it is crispy and fluffy. Too bad, it only contained potatoes and chicken.. I prefer to have egg inside the curry puff. The curry taste quite different from what I usually get elsewhere, the spice taste is strong. Will recommend this to people who like spicy food.
