A bunch of us were out for a dinner gathering at Kimly Seafood - Kopitiam. We ordered zi char dished, shared among all us. One of the dishes was the fried squid with chilli which costs around $10 per plate. The portion was sufficient to fill our stomachs. The fried squids tasted average overall, although it was a little dry. There was a wide variety of choice of food to select from the menu.

I was at the coffeeshop with my friends for dinner, and a glance at the surrounding, "WOW" most of the tables are filled with zi char dishes, so we decided to eat it. Environment was noisy though, many people was watching soccer.Zi char auntie came and take our order, menu listed a variety of dishes. We ordered chilli crab, steam fish, stir fried vegetables. (Price was quite standard, Did not know about the signature dishes initially, going to try it the next trip)We waited roughly around 20 to 30mins for the food to come. The chilli crab was too spicy for me but defintely good for spicy lovers, the sauce was awesome(not too watery). The steam fish looks very presentable with garnishes on top, texture was soft, and hot inside. The stir fried vegetables was average though.overall: not a bad dinner, will try the signature dish next time round.
