I really don't see the appeal of Komala Vilas: the food is average, the setting is like a fast food joint, and there are better value places to eat. There are literally dozens of better places to eat this kind of food in Little India. I guess the appeal is that it's clean and air-conditioned? That said, the food isn't bad - it's just average. The masala dosa is huge, but filled with a bland potato mix and with tiny portions of 3 similarly bland chutneys.
