Restaurant is comfortable and cooling and service is smily and friendly.

One of the downside is that the restaurant charges for plain water.

Kungfu paradise offers a few affordable tea-time sets and one of my favourite items over here has got to be their custard paus! It is under the Paradise group and I find that their quality of custard paus are pretty consistent across all of their restaurants! I can't seem to be able to resist ordering the custard paus whenever I dine in at one of their restaurants and I highly recommend you to try!

The menu is pretty much of a mix of everything. Expect to find a menu similar to Hong Kong tea rooms, thrown with a bit of western dishes and then mixed with a few Japanese elements.

The Sausage "Babe" Rice ($12.80) is one of the various baked rice dishes offered here. Kungfu Paradise allows customers to choose which sauce they would like their Baked Rice to come in, with choices of Tomato, Cream or Curry. There was sufficient cheese covering the rice, and it was stringy upon being pulled about. Few chili flakes were spotted on the cheese but they did not carry any level of spiciness. There were two types of sausages used in this dish; a western type of sausage which is the one in white that had a bit of pepper in it and the red one which was Taiwan sausage.

Following the not-so-impressive Steamed Custard Lava Bun, we were hoping that the Chocolate Lava Cake ($6.80) will not turn out underwhelming. We were sort of relieved when it came, and with a vanilla ice-cream as well. The ice-cream seemed pretty much supplied, but the lava cake was warmed sufficiently so as to allow the chocolate lava to be liquid enough. The chocolate was also not full of cloying sweetness as well.

Noodles with Shrimp Chicken ($8.90)
The chicken wings were average. The taste could have been further enhanced with the addition of more five-spices powder. Noodles and soup base are pretty standard as well, not really value for money given the taste and quality.

Tom Yam Seafood Bee Hoon ($10.90)
Quite a unique creamy tom yam soup base – somewhat similar to a combination of laksa and tom yam. However, I found it to be a little overpowering and lacking the refine taste of traditional clear soup base.

The good thing is that they were quite generous with their portion which could be easily shared between 2 girls satisfactorily. The ingredients were fresh as well.

Overall, for a quick fuss-free casual dining experience, we're pretty satisfied with Kungfu Paradise's offerings.

The Chicken Chop HK Noodles was slightly disappointing in comparison because apart from the fried chicken chop, the noodles and egg tasted something out of an instant packet which I can cook at home.

The service staff was attentive and speedy in taking orders. JCube is a spacious new mall in the west which I check out time to time. Nice place to jalan jalan.

I had this dish with a group of friends for lunch! It was my first time visiting KungFu Paradise and I there were so many options to choose from. I ended up going with Creamoso Pasta.

I thought that the pasta was really good. The pasta itself was well cooked - it wasn't too soft and soggy or too hard. It had a nice texture and was nice to chew on. The cream complimented the pasta really well. It was quite a heavy cream making the whole dish really savory. The cream itself was sweet but there were many small ham bits in the cream, balancing out the sweetness of the cream with the saltiness of the ham bits.

Adding a little bit of salt and pepper (which is provided) would make the dish an excellent dish!

Since the cream was so heavy, the pasta was really filling and I could barely finish my food. I was really really full.

The cost of this dish was 8.99. I thought it was kinda pricey at first. However after tasting it I thought that the meal of worth it, although its still pricey for a student.

The ambience of the cafe was good. I felt that there was nothing special about the ambience of the cafe but it was definitely comfortable and allowed me to have a good time with my friends!

I absolutely love liu sha bao. It is extremely satisfying when piping hot custard bursts out of a steaming hot bun when bitten into. Luckily for me kungfu paradise's liu sha bao was good. It was steamed to order so the bun was hot and fluffy, while the custard was smooth and tasty. Only thing is that the custard is quite oily, there were drops of visible oil in the custard

this place serves liu sha bao surprisingly. This seems to be the only dim sum item on the menu. Decided to give it a try and was satisfied with it. The bao was served piping hot, and the bun was fluffy and moist. The custard was flowy and had a strong salted egg fragrance making it very rich and tasty. The only improvement would be to have a higher custard to bao ratio!

Was my dad's birthday and decided to bring the folks for something new rather than just purely coffeeshop food, though is nice and cheap. Decided to settle with Kungfu Paradise because I wanted them to try the Custard buns. So we head to the nearest outlet from our home at JCube.

Not realising that actually I have ordered stuff that I like rather than what the folks prefer. Luckily I helped them with the choices.

Mum had spaghetti, which is non spicy (preferred by her) and is a big plate and wasn't able to finish. Quite average, just like spaghetti bolognese, very tomato feel. Plus point is that the mushrooms are quite a bit and nice.

Dad had Tom yum soup with rice. The ingredients inside is pathetic. Small bits of mushroom, squids, some vegetables and so on. Not worth trying. Better off doing it at home with the paste and all sort of ingredients that you want.

I have ordered finger food like the truffle fries and seafood platter. Both are still worth. Do have that.

For all of us, I ordered 6 custard buns. Seriously, you need to have it once it is served so as to taste the warm custard flowing out. It really tastes like some nice sand is melting in your mouth. But when it is cold, no longer taste good.

Last of all, Gongbao chicken. My guy has that and he feels average. It is very dry. Not worth trying.

As for the drinks, try the hot honey lemon. It is nice and soothing.

The total bill add up to $90 for 5 pax. Quite expensive for an average restaurant. Will not come back for proper meal but maybe for their finger food.
