Recently a new stall has opened at one of the coffee shops near SPH. The stall is known for its Lam Salt Baked Chicken which is offered at a promotional price of $18 during the first week of opening. But too bad I do not have time to come. Wasted!Today Nana has bought some takeaway from the stall for our dinner to enjoy. The takeaway is nicely packed in a traditional looking paper bag.Lam Salt Baked Kampong Chicken ($22)The chicken is packed in plastic wrap and looks dry. Father is very disappointed as he feels that the chicken is tasteless and small size too. He feels that it is a rip off.Salted Baked Potato ($2 for 2 pieces)Tastes like normal boiled potato to me. Mix Rice ($2.60 for 2 servings)Tastes slightly flavourful, but could be better.1 Plain Rice ($0.70)4 Takeaway Box ($1.20)After 10% discount, it costs $25.65.Overall the food is average. Feels that the meal is overcharged. Cannot understand why so much has been charged for the takeaway box.
