This stall sells numerous variety of otak, nasi lemak and other nasi lemak related ingredients. So far I've tried their prawn otak, squid otak, crab otak, fish head otak and the original fish meat otak. My fave otak had to be their prawn otak ($0.80 each)...2-3 pieces of whole prawn stuffed inside the otak paste. This otak is fragrant and the spicyness is just right for my palate. I always buy this to go with my Qiji nasi lemak

One for $1.30Recently found out that there is this shop / kiosk that sells otah otah with different ingredients inside and i miss the otah otah made by my mom so i went to have a try on this one. They have the prawn, squid, fish roe, fish head and even non spicy one! I am interested in the squid one so i bought one to try. The otah itself is flavourful, but being the toasted otah it dont have the char smell and flavour in it. I personally dont like the char flavour so i think that this is great, but if you like the char smell then this might be not okay for you. Anyway i love the squid inside, it's crunchy and giving more texture to the otah. It will be better if served hot.

i wouldn't try the nasi lemak here again. the coconut rice tasted fake although it smelt like coconut rice. even my baby spat out the rice! it just tasted weird and fake. the fish is alright. nicely fried. the ikan bilis is good as it's not too small and the backbones are removed so it's not bitter. the chilli is very very super hot. over all, the rice made the dish fail. wrapped in leaf didn't help either. althuogh the leaf was fragrant. it cost $1.60 only. there are other things you can add to the nasi lemak like prawn or egg or chicken. not recommended. best to stick with their otah.

This place is heavenly to have Otah Otah! Look at the prawn and the crab meat! You can still spot it visually. The taste of the otah wasn't too spicy, suits everyone taste bud. Having the Otah with the bread for breakfast is awesome! Their Otah wasn't too overly BBQ. Thus, the meat of the Otah was still soft and the taste just melt in my mouth.You will never have enough of their Otah because it is so so so nice! Invited for a movie preview at Shaw Theatre and came by here to buy some otahs to go with bread for breakfast. This is one of my regular stalls for otah, i started eating this particular brand of otah when i worked near Ghim Moh food centre. The good thing is they are almost everywhere now, i do patronize their other outlet at the basement of Tangs quite often too. I love their otah, my usual choice is the fish. It is selling at 0.60 cents per stick, the otah is quite a thick slice with the well balance of spiciness. You have other choices too like the non-spicy (white one) otah, the fish head otah, the squid otah, the prawn otah, crab otah and fish roe otah at different prices. They do have some of these in banana leaf too.If you want more than just otah, they are selling Nasi Lemak at $3.00. The main one comes with fish otah, ikan bilis, peanuts, fiscake and nice sambal chilli.
