Was looking for takeaway food in the food basement of Raffles City and this is one of the stalls that offer filling food and the cheapest option that you can find there, other than the food court. The nasi lemak Lunch Box ($4) is available in different sets and options. Had wanted to buy the chicken wing set but was sold out, so had the breaded fish lunch box instead. The lunch box includes breaded fish, ikan bilis & peanuts, otah and fish cake. The ikan bilis and peanuts were sealed and prepack

The lunch box includes breaded fish, ikan bilis & peanuts, otah and fish cake. The ikan bilis and peanuts were sealed and prepacked, together with the sambal chilli. The otah is good as it is on its own. I like the big and tasty fish cake the most. The breaded fish is quite normal, I still prefer the chicken wing. The nasi lemak is average and not fantastic, Lee Wee is more famous for its otah rather than nasi lemak anyway. The rice portion is huge, too much that I couldnt finish the rice, good for big eaters though.

Lee Wee Brothers made their name selling Banana Leaf Otah with chunks of mackeral fish. They have since expanded their repertoire to offer Nasi Lemak and Satay. We were delighted to find a new Lee Wee Nasi Lemak kiosk in B1 of Raffles City's remodelled food hall. After busting our budgets during Xmas & New Year, we wanted reasonably priced REAL food that was satisfying & filling, not overpriced & overhyped skinny pizzas, or pricey cupcakes that tickle only the sweet tastebuds leaving our tastes

We were delighted to find a new Lee Wee Nasi Lemak kiosk in B1 of Raffles City's remodelled food hall. After busting our budgets during Xmas & New Year, we wanted reasonably priced REAL food that was satisfying & filling, not overpriced & overhyped skinny pizzas, or pricey cupcakes that tickle only the sweet tastebuds leaving our tastes for salty, spicy, tangy sensations unfullfilled.

Lee Wee's Nasi Lemak Sets are probably the cheapest meal one can find in Raffles City. It comes with crunchy anchovies (ikan bilis), peanuts, regular otah, fishcake plus a choice of either fried chicken wing (joint only) OR breaded fish fillet OR
omelette. We picked the chicken wing and the breaded fish fillet. We liked the rice which was tasty and fragrant without being oily and heavy. The rice was served fluffy and piping hot and if I am broke someday I could live on their nasi lemak rice and sambal chilli without any other toppings/ingredients. Fish cake was Q & tasty without any nasty fishy smell and was not oversalted. The plump peanuts and big ikan bilis are my favourite items - fragrant and wonderfully crunchy. The meal would have been perfect
if the kiosk sells their famous homemade achar/pickles. The tangy crunchy pineapple and cucumber pickles would have balanced the meal with some fibre. We ordered the assam fish which was delicious and only mildly spicy. This used to cost $2.20 for a fairly large fillet but the price has gone up to $2.40 now. Each of us still had change left for $6 :-).
