Lianhe House Seafood (已結業)

Somehow i just like to order this whenever i am here for a meal. Despite hot weather and knowing i will surely sweat a lot, i am willing to spend $5 on this. It just appeals to me! Haha!The tom yum broth is very appetizing! Hot and sour at the same time ( if only i don't sweat so much then i can enjoy it better ). The seafood are fresh and i enjoy every bite with the bee hoon!

One thing i noticed about the portion of food for this place is that it's not a very generous portion. However, i do like coming here once in a while due to it's convenience cause it's very near to my work place.I think this was around $4 or $4.50, i was a bit disappointed when i see my lunch being served. The meat portion wasn't impressive and i see more rice instead. The only consolation was the taste was not too bad plus the peace and quiet i get due to late lunch timing.

I usually don't take much rice unless the dishes goes well with it. For this sweet & sour pork rice, it's a great combination of everything - the gravy, yummy sweet & sour pork and the accompanying vegetables. For $4.50, it was a very good portion for me.They did a pretty good job for the pork. Nice crunch to it and it also has a nice ratio of fats and lean meat. Right amount of gravy too! Previously it was a shop selling bak kut teh and western food. But somehow business here always don't stay for very long. Recently i noticed a new owner taking over and it's selling vegetable rice + zi char. Decide to try it one day and i ordered hokkien mee! Appearance wise, it scored some winning points. Looks and smell good! Taste wise, i think those who like their food strong flavored one will love it. And they are generous with their green chili. I like!! The quiet environment plus near my
