As the Creator of the Original and the Best Black Pepper Crab of Singapore, Long Beach has created many renowned dishes such as Drunken Prawns with VSOP Brandy, BBQ Golden Phoenix fish, Renowned Crispy Duck during the 1980s, signature dish Golden Stripe Lobster and House Speciality Prawn. Long Beach is also the first restaurant to bring in seafood where initially was never served but has now become popular favourites. These include the Razor Clam, Abalone Conch, Mouse Cowrie, Tiger Sea Mantis, Geoduck, Alaskan King Crab, Robin Triton Clam, Japanese Hokkikai Clam, Alaskan Hokikai and many more.

Back again to Long Beach Seafood Restaurant for their famous chilli crabs and other dishes The Restaurant was almost fully packed and we waited around 20 min before we can enter to get a seat We ordered their Chilli Crabs , Mantou , You Char Kway With Sotong , Steamed Grouper etc I liked the chilli crabs as normal due the spicyness of the gravy and the freshness of the crabs and the flesh of the crabs fully absorbed the gravy . And with the crispy on the outer side and inner softness of the mantou when dip in the gravy taste delicious The You Char Kway is crispy and the sotong is chewy with mayo sauce The Steamed Groupon is well cooked with the sauce and taste fresh and juicy 查看更多

Out with family for a crabby feast! Bamboo ClamsThis was one of my favourite dish. I like anything with rubbery texture, such as abalone & squid. This dish looked simple with just some sauce and chopped garlic, but it tasted heavenly. The garlic definitely played a major role in bringing out the aroma, and yet covering any "fishy" smell of the seafood. I dun like to eat garlic, but dishes cooked with garlic are good! You should try it! Chilli Crab with fried Man Tuo 馒头White Pepper CrabThere were 7 of us, so we ordered 2 crabs cooked in different style. The Chilli Crab was a must order. I particularly adored the gravy even though I dun take spicy food. The eggs in the gravy sure helped to mellow the spiciness a bit, so that I just need to gulp down one glass of iced water instead of one jug. Hahaha..One thing I like about Long Beach crabs ~ They were super meaty! And I love to eat the fried Man Tuo 馒头 with the gravy. Yummy!On the contrary, the White Pepper Crab was quite blend. It was recommended by the waiter lor! Humpt, bad recommendation. I should have ordered crab with century egg! Along this stretch of East Coast Park, lies a row of seafood restaurants. One of them is Long Beach Seafood Restaurant which has been around for many years. Tonite the family is coming for a meal.Chilli Crab is the must to order dish here. I like the sauce very much. Just the bun dipped full of the sauce is so delicious. Roasted ChickenThe skin is so crispy, yummy.Sweet and sour pork.The kids' all time favourite, although I would prefer it to be crispier.Braised assorted mushrooms with xiao bai caiNot one of its strong points, but tastes average.Crispy DuckIt is so crispy that one can feel the bones like cracking and can be easily cut into pieces by scissors. As I live nearby about 5 minute drive away, I like to come here often to take a night stroll under the moonlight with the seabreeze…. No really actually the smells of the seafood!We ordered Half Shell Scallop , Cereal Prawns and Chilli Crab with Fried Buns.Fresh and succulent scallops covered with springy vermicelli , aromatic garlic and fried pickled radish with a splash of light sauce. This dish is savoury sweet and beautiful with being intact to the shell.Crispy Cereal Prawns were coated with butter that has been specially infused with chilli padi and fragrant kariff leaves topped with crunchy and flavourful toasted cereal. The fresh crunchy prawns were fried well to the point where it didn’t need de-shelling and eat it whole (without the head unless you prefer).Big meaty mud crab, beautifully placed like a sculpture in a pool of bright red eggy chilli tomato sauce. Sweet and tangy sauce coated the moist and scrumptious exposed crab parts (not the claws) , and upon breaking open the claws revealed phat crab meat that has preserved its natural juices and freshness.
