Haven't been to Long John Silver's in a while, and I missed the Chocolate Cream Pie there... so we decided to have LJS for dinner! Great Value 2 Pcs Chicken ($4.50)
This was the first thing we agreed on ordering because we love the batter LJS used to coat their chicken with. It was very crispy and crunchy and just so tasty! We were disappointed that they did not give the crispy batter bits like they used to even after we specifically asked for it. I always loved munching on those bits! At least there were the fries which somewhat crispy outside and yet so soft inside. The LJS taste is also quite different from the usual fast food fries like those at McDonald's or KFC, which makes their fries more memorable!

Snacker Combo 5 Pcs Chicken Bites Set ($3.60)
The sets on the Snacker Combo menu are among one of my favorites at LJS! Between us, we have tried the Chicken Bites, Cheese Munchies and Crazy Potato Snacker Combo meals before. The Chicken Bites are basically chicken nuggets while the cheese munchies are like mini hash brown with cheese. These snacks alone cost $2.50 ala carte so it's definitely more value for money to get them as a combo set which will come with a drink and fries, although you can also change the fries to chips if you prefer.

Coke and Green Tea
These came with the sets we ordered although it costs $0.25 to swap one of the cokes for Iced Green Tea.

Chocolate Cream Pie ($2.50)
Made with real Hershey's cocoa, this is probably one of those mass-produced desserts that I actually like. This is a simple "pie": just a chocolate crust, lots of chocolate cream, and a sprinkling of chocolate shavings. But I love every single bit of it! Plus, at $2.50, it is cheaper than some of the more expensive desserts that I've tried but didn't like as much. I'd make a trip to LJS just for this pie alone!

I ordered the Golden Deal 1 which comes with 3 pieces of Chicken, fries and a cup of soft drink for about $5.I like that the fried skin of the chicken is crispy and not too thick, and the chicken in it tender and yummy. There isn't too much seasoning but I like it this way.The only thing disappointing is that they dot seem to give those fried crispy bits anymore. I also enjoy the fries at Long John Silver as they still taste like real potatoes instead of like those from Mcdonald's, which tasted

Long John Silver is my favourite fast-food restaurant. Unfortunately, my visit to this particular branch in Causeway Point has made me lost my faith in LJS, at least for a little while. I ordered the standard 2-pc chicken combo, my favourite order everytime I go to LJS. What that was served to me was shockingly overcooked. I had long john silver for my lunch on a sunday afternoon. I went there with my boyfriend, and we ordered two of these. i ordered chicken and he ordered the fish. The chicken don't really taste nice because it is kind of tough. but, i like the crispiness of the fried fish yummy! hmm, we both ordered the soup too! CLAM CHOWDER! my favourite. but still, i prefer the clam chowder in mos burger!!!!
