Craving for some Indian cuisine, I will always choose to come here to grab my favourite paper tosai.  To pay less than $5 for this giantic 'prata', is definitely worth the money.  THe restaurant is spacious and cooling, service was really warm and friendly too.  For the paper tosai, is really thin and crispy.  The curry gravy is flavourful and not too spicy.  Dip or without dipping it, both version taste equally good!

Last week we like to have full vegetarian meals,So we went little India & have the meals at Komala Vilas vegetarian restaurant. Here you can get all type Dosas,like wheat, Ragi, Rava, Masala Ghee, Papaer & the poori,Parata in all times,not only in the breakfast hours. One day after my shopping in little India, I went to Komala Vilas for a quick & light dinner. I ordered for Special wada. I actually wanted to have 2 samosas, but I went and had a look at the food on display & noticed this large pattie like thing and asked what it is & was told it is a special wada. My wife & I went to Komala Vilas for lunch, few days back, The ambience is casual & simpIe. The place was crowded when we went there at around 2 PM. I ordered for a masala dosa. It arrived in 3-4 minutes. The dosa was crisp & tasty. The potato filling was nice,spicy & tasty. 2 chutneys & a sambhar were served along with the dosa. The white chutney was really tasty and added to the taste of the dosa.

I was in little India, so I went to my favourite Komala Vilas.The restaurant is always full. I took a seat & then I ordered for a ghess dosai,since I din't want to have a heavy lunch. It was served immediately. It was served with a chutney & a sambhar. The dosa was nice & crisp & the sambhar was served hot too. The flavour of the ghee,added to the taste of the samosa. Just that the chutney they serve is less.

the masala dosai here is alright. nothing to brag about. just potato spiced and wrapped in some thin pastry with some deep fried donut thing and rice cake thing on top. the sauces are alright. the sauces are dishes up by the staff and left to sit on the back counter where there could be flies or whatever dropping into it. very unhygenic. overall the place looks pretty unhygenic. the food tastes ok. hard to make a bad curry. a bit over priced but otherwise it's passable. not really recommended. t

went to little india for a threading and my cousin was hungry so we decided to go Komala Villas since she hasn't her breakfast. i didn't feel like eating any thosai or Idly so i ordered Samosa Chaat and my cousin had appam. So the samosa chaat is basically made with 2 big samosa then cut into smaller pieces with topping of Mint sauce, Spicy masala and few more other sauces. Not really sure of the names. Happen to visit the place with a friend of mine yesterday. Firstly they said they do not have a Menu Card, and one has to read what is written on the wall which is obviously not visible from all corners of the restaurant. Then when we ordered and the food came, we were not even given Fork or spoons to eat, finally on request the waiter gave a fork and asked us to share it with each other.
