Newly renovated stall at this coffee shop, it was selling assorted Malay Cuisines. Interestingly, my colleague told me that Makan First was voted best within this area. Halal cert obtained, it welcomed all Muslim patrons.Clearly highlight their specialty, all their signature dishes were displayed through the picture on board. Everything was neatly arranged, the stall appeared hygiene.Well, Mee siam was delicious and curious creature. It was like Siamese Noodles but influenced with Malay cooking culture, catered to local appetite. Ratio of savouriness was just nice, neither too starchy nor too watery. Traditional stir-fried red meehoon, texture was delighting springy even shimmered in spicy and little sour broth. Tau Pok, Hard-boiled Egg, little Shrimp were added, taste was relied much on the Fiery Sambal Chilli. Price at $3.00, my lunch was reasonable and inexpensive.
