MakeShake is located at the basement of City Square Mall. It has a small sit down area where one can enjoy a sip of the yummy milkshake while people watching. I decided to go for my all time favourite blend of Strawberry and Banana milkshake. I like how the milkshake is not overly sweet and creamy. It still has a trace of the distinct fruity flavours. Every sip of it also comes with bites of the fruits which was quite delectable to the palate.

I had make shake with my siblings!! i just had a sudden craving for milk shake and chance upon this shop. It was my first time buying it. I chose the vanilla base and the earl grey tea flavour as i personally like tea and earl grey tea is less sweet!! It suits my taste. My choice of Milk Shake (:The cup is quite small as i bought the regular one about less than 3 bucks. Even though the serving was small, the combinaton of vanilla nd earl grey was superb!!~ The vanilla base made the earl grey taste creamier. The earl grey tea flavor was also not too strong. Furthermore, the environment was quite awesome. It has this cafe feeling and i feel relaxed xD You could also see how they prepare the milk shake. It made me feel like doing it myself too >.< I really love the milk shake. it has a unique taste and it is definitely different from other milk shake. Do try it! Its worth the money~

Having never attempted a tea-based milkshake before, I ordered a regular Earl Grey Lychee milkshake ($4.50). As bizzare as this might sound, the combination was really delicious. Granted, it tasted mainly of canned lychees, but the earl grey syrup provided a refreshing edge to the drink. Texture-wise, the milkshake was a pleasure to slurp- smooth and not overly thick, with lychee bits for contrast.I should have ordered a larger drink for an additional $1.50 though. The regular serving is really tiny!

MakeShake is a new milkshake joint that offers customers a say in the ingredients that go into their milkshake. First you choose your shake base (vanilla/choc/froyo) and size (regular/large). Then you choose what ingredients you want to be blended with the base at 80 cents each. There is a mind boggling array of sweet treats, fruits, biscuits, sauces and powders to choose from. Imagine how many combinations of milk shakes you can get! For the less adventurous or indecisive people, they have a couple of recommended (interesting!) combinations you can choose from.I was in the mood for earl grey, so I went along with the staff’s recommendation of vanilla milkshake with earl grey tea and butterscotch candy. I expected the milk shake to be cloyingly sweet (esp with the addition of butterscotch candy) but it turned out to be very well balanced- not too overly sweet at all. The bergamot taste of earl grey came through and the butterscotch candy was a delightful topping that went very well with it. The candy was crushed before being mixed into the milkshake and provided a nice crunchy texture to the otherwise ordinary milkshake. This combination costs $4.50 for a regular cup.
