My mum and i went to bugis and we are walking till we saw this small ice cream restaurant so went to try their things. We didn't order ice cream but order the two smoothie. One is blueberry Fruity Smoothies and another is strawberry Gourmet Milk Shakes. I tasted my mum order, the blueblerry Fruity Smoothies, it was kind of sour. Itching for some ice cream and was strolling around Bugis+ and there was Marble Slab next to the cinema. Hence being the ever Singaporean, I sampled all the different flavours and finally settled on Matcha and Dark Chocolate with waffles. The matcha was really really good because the matcha taste is very strong; makes you feel healthy whilst eating such fatty food. I had a $10 voucher for Marble Slab Creamery and was rather looking forward to spending it on their famed mixed ice cream creations. After agonizing over what to order for some time, we finally settled for their Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream mix. We were promised a cheesecake based ice cream with fresh raspberry fruits and graham crackers chopped and pounded into the ice cream. Have been addicted to red velet cake recently and when i knew about the red velet ice cream here at Marble Slab, i definitely wasted no time in trying it. This flavour is unique and may noot be easily found at other ice cream palours. Love how marble Slab incorporated the red velvet cake flavour into the ice cream and i found that it was delicious. Enjoyed it tremendously and this one was more doughy in texture and tasted like cinnamon, apples and caramel. Went to Marble Slab Creamery 2 weeks ago to catch up with friends. We tried the Original Yogurt with a oreo toppings as well as the peppermint Yogurt toped with chocolate sauce. After having lunch, we were wondering around looking for some place to have desert when we chance upon the ice place Marble Slab Creamery. I had eaten this kind of ice cream in Taiwan's Cold Stone Creamy where they will put your ice cream on a cold slab and add the different ingredient. The cold slab will prevent the ice cream from melting while they are mixing in. I order the Swiss Cocoa Butter which is chocolate ice cream with KitKat bits and Reese peanut buttercups pieces. Me and my friend was attracted by the color and the deco of this place at Illuma.The concept works just like coldstone, u can mix any topping u like with your ice cream, or even try their creation if u unable to make your decision. The waffle was not taste as good as Coldstone as i believe they are not made freshly. When i think of Iluma, i'll think of food at the 4th level of Iluma! There are many franchised restaurants there and its always a gastronomic treat to myself whenever i visit Iluma. Hearing so much about Marble Slab, I decided to try it out. Me and bf had cookie dough in a cup with waffle. After trying it for the first time out of curiosity, i fell in love with the ice cream immediately. The texture is smooth, sticky and awesomely sweet. Big dipper, here I come! In order to get the member card, there was a special flyer given. I gotta buy a big dipper (the biggest size) at $8, but a $2 off form the flyer is present.I was wanting something chocolatey, so Swiss Cocoa Buttercup is the best choice. I'm always a chocolate sucker when it comes to ice cream. And then, Yes! Now I'm a member. 10% off each time. The chocolate was as luscious and sinful as usual with kitkat break bits and Reese buttercups. Truthfully, they don't really have to do all that yakiniku move, do it like Baskin's Rocky Road putting in all marshmallows+almonds+chocolate syrup together.
