As Nana's birthday is coming, we decide to get her a ice cream cake to celebrate. Due to a groupon online promotion, we have bought a 1kg Premium Ice Cream Cake - Party Like a King which costs $55. It has colourful display of waffle cones, m&ms and 3 scoops of ice-cream, all guarded with a wall of Kit-Kat bars. The 3 scoops of ice-cream are selected upon collection. Inside the cake, it is Double Dark Chocolate Ice Cream + Choc Chips Mix-in since chocolate is Nana's favourite. Feel that the ice cream melts rather fast and we have a hard cutting the cake. It was really a generous gesture that my uncle bought a whole 1 kg of Cookies N' Cream Whole cake to our house to share with us. The whole cake is filled with thick and creamy vanilla and chocolate ice cream, that are really fragrant and not too sweet for me. Generous amount of crusted oreo biscuits be found during every mouthful of it. The design looks simple but yet elegant with its simple black and white layout over it. I always love to enjoy a nice waffle topped with ice cream as dessert whenever my tummy has space for it. This was my first time trying out Marble Slab Creamery. Since i'm sharing it with another friend, i chose this one with 2 scoops of ice cream. Usually i like some something with peanut butter and chocolate so i was happy when they have something i wantDrizzle with chocolate sauce on it, i was a happy girl! This was my first time visiting marble slab creamery. The ice cream is of a high quality and is smooth and creamy without being too cloyingly sweet. The concept of mix ins is very innovative and mix ins cost 1 dollar each. I also topped my ice cream with caramel sauce which went very well with the not too sweet ice cream.
