If you have follow the trend for McDonald, hot on its menu now its the Rendang Burger Set Meal after the Minions Toys from the Happy Meals. In order to enjoy a cup of new Rose McFrizz, one has to up-size the meal. Good marketing tactic indeed. A total set meal costs S$7.45. Upon up-sizing the meal, we get a curry flavour shaker fries. The turmeric powder from the curry sauce will turn your nails yellow as you enjoy the curry crispy fries from McDonald.Ingredients are grinded and as we flipped open the paper wrapper from the mouth watering rendang burger, the aroma of lemon grass rushes in. The single beef patty was as tender as minced meat and comes with onions sandwiched between the sesame buns. McFlurry with durian? Separate order with the cost at S$2.80 per cup. Cannot think of any cheaper and more value for money snack other than McDonald's apple pie, which costs merely $1. It comes piping hot, and be careful when you take the first bite as the apple filling is extremely hot. I have always liked the crispy crust of the apple pie, which is very crispy and goes well with the sweet apple filling. The apple filling is quite sweet but still acceptable. Was in the vicinity near Centrepoint and as i had a sudden craving for Mac, I decided to find a McDonald's nearby to settle my lunch. Didnt knw where the nearest Mac was so had to ask ard. The fast food restaurant was located at a corner, quite hidden i feel. Found a table and my fren sat down while i ordered food for both of us. Ordered 2 sets of Filo-o-fish meal, one with upsized (mine, as i wanted to try their shaker fries), and the order was for my fren. There wasnt a queue even though the place was crowded, so i gt to order very fast. The good thing is that there was the lunch special from 12 to 3pm ($4.50 for all set meals), so my upsized wasnt too expensive too. :) My drink i had changed to ice lemon tea, which was my fav, while my fren didnt change and so gt a coke. The cashier gave me alot of fries, both the fries we received were filled to the brim. :) I poured all of mine into the shaker bag and poured only half the seasoning into the bag as i was afraid it was very spicy. Turned out my worries were in vain as the fries was not spicy at all. The seasoning just had a 'spicy' taste, but mostly it's just salty (like most seasonings). The filo-o-fish was not very hot, but hot enough to satisfy me. Both of us had filo-o-fish. The fish was soft and there was a generous amount of tar tar suace in the bun. The place was quite noisy though as there were many ppl, and i even saw ppl eating food bought from other places (not Mac), and occupying the seats in Mac. One evening, while my hubby is waiting for me to meet at centrepoint for dinner, he ordered a drink of Ice lemon tea at Mcdonald. I was so thirsty when i reached Mcdonald and get a slip of the drink from my hubby. It was so refreshing after drinking it. Ice lemon tea is always one of my favourite drink, that i like to drink while i m outside. It was good to drink after eating oily food with a cup of ice lemon tea. …查看更多
