It was a super hot sunny day at Sentosa and I needed something to cool me down. Thus I stepped into McDonald's located in iFly building to have some cold drink.Strawberry Banana Smoothie - $4.50. The glass size was rather small, it kinda turned me down :(. However, I love the taste of the smoothie, it is better than the one that I usually make at home hahaha. Their smoothie is neither too thick nor watery. It is a nice blend between strawberry and banana, which tastes very nice. The sourness of strawberry and sweetness of banana is well-balanced. Overall, such a perfect drink for a sunny day. McDonald always serve twister fries near Chinese New Year. Among all the places, we chose to have our twister fries at their Sentosa outlet, during one of our downtown trip. Our twister fries, we asked for no salt and we sprinkled the fries with ground black pepper instead.The double quarter pounder, specially ordered with extra vegetables and pickles. I would be stupid to not know that the $2 Mc Chicken is gone but compared to the nearby eateries, there really isn’t anything more worthwhile and convenient. It is so close to the beach, many people come here to cool off after a warm day. The place is quite spacious and it definitely beats walking all the way to harbourfront centre. Rather messy burger I got but it tastes fine.The chicken patty is crispy and hot. Though the vegetables did not taste as fresh, the mayo sauce along with some bbq sauce worked like magic.
