Whee~~ Samurai Burger is back! Since I'm on leave today, I head down to Lot1 McDonald's for the legendary Samurai Burger (Double)! 2 slices of tender & juicy beef patties soaked in sweet teriyaki sauce, top up with mayonnaise and crunchy lettuce. Nice! But I still prefer it without mayonnaise and lettuce cos then I'll be able to taste the teriyaki sauce. Seaweed shaker fries is full of seaweed flavor!

Got the Caramel Macchiato ($3.20) as a quick perk-me-up. Compared to Starbuck's Caramel Macchiato, this one is less thick but sweeter. The foam was smooth and glided down my throat. Even after leaving it out for quite some time, the drink still retained its distinct coffee aroma. Perhaps it has something to do with the coffee beans. In addition, the coffee was not bitter at all.

I went to McDonald's to buy back breakfast for the family. I was a little bored of the usual drinks they served with the breakfast so i opted to change my drink to Iced Latte. I never noticed they sold such drinks as i seldom look at the beverage menu. their Iced Latte tasted pretty good. it was not too sweet as they only added one pump of sugar syrup. i really like the bitterness of the drink as it really perks me up.

Did you know that as an NSF... you dont actually earn that much... During my NS time, i had the opportunity to go to other camps for meetings etc but anyways one day i was supposed to go to Mandai Hill Camp and we headed there but before that since we had 2 hours i decided to head over to MCD for my breakfast.... it was so epic... We went in there and there was quite a huge group of ITE students but because i was in uniform... We were heading over to the cashier and then i decided to order the "drum rolls please" dadrarararararararararararararpung... SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN WITH EGG!!!! WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!Ok so it was quite interesting because back then the breakfast meal was priced at $4... what a good deal right? That day was also the very day that Judas Priest and Lamb of God came down...

$1 for a piping hot apple pie! The two long rectangle pastry enclosing the slices of cinnamon sugared apples inside, is my favorite dessert from Macdonald's! The apples filling inside are not too sweet just nice...but the apples were just a few of it The pastry crust outside is crispy too This pie dessert is one of the best I have ever tried.And the price is reasonable.
