McDonald's came out with this all time favourite menu again, Samurai Burger.The Samurai Burger was a beef burger coated with special teriyaki sauce. The sauce was unlike MOS Burger, McDonald's one was sweeter and less salty.The vegetable that McDonald's used was same as the Big Mac, chopped into messy parts and soggy.The beef patty was slightly dry, if not for the "Samurai" sauce, the burger would be as dry as Big Mac.Overall, I would prefer MOS Burger Teriyaki burger if I got the extra cash and waiting time.

It was 'despicable me' crazy season and many adults were queuing to buy happy meal for the minion toys rather than children. There were strong objection against adults buying Happy Meals as it defeated the original intention of the Happy Meal which is meant for kids only. But who cares, the cuteness of minions is irresistible to both adults and children! Nevertheless, the toys were so limited, each adult is only allowed to buy up to a maximum of 3. Well, I guess Lady Luck is not shining on me that day; the minions were fully redeemed before my turn! Sadly, they gave me this toy instead (the miniature version of an apple pie). I was kind of disappointed, but they tell me there is this "deferred fulfillment" going-on and asked me to check online for more details. Well, back to the happy meal I had ordered, 2 plain hotcakes with honey syrup and margarine provided. I like the taste of the honey syrup spread on the hotcakes, which helps to give the plain spongy hot cake a sweet taste. However, I do not like to add margarine on it as it was too creamy and also gave rise to a buttery aftertaste, which covers up the sweetest of the honey syrup. I choose apple juice of my drink, well, there is nothing really special about this drink as it was just normal packet apple juice imported from another country. But the taste was acceptable.

FoodAfter drinking for many years, I still find that mcdonald's milk shake is still the best value for money. It is smooth and not so sweet and the flavour had maintained the same throughout the years.Cost: S$2.40 Available Flavours: Vanilla, chocolate and StrawberryServiceAlthough it was stated desserts kiosk with the availability of milk shake but the machine was down. Therefore, the staff had to make additional trips to kitchen in order to serve us.AmbienceQueues over at the dessert kiosk was pretty long. PriceValue for money pricing!

It was during the weekends and everywhere is crowded with people. We are quite tired from all the walking so we decided to just settle for mcdonalds for our dinner to save us the trouble of finding seats in the food court. I ordered the meal for double cheeseburger and had my drink changed to milk. The fries here are just newly fried which made the fries especially crispy. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal as we get to fill our stomachs, rest our feet and we did not have to wait long for our meal as well as the service here is fast with many cashier counters open.

During the festive season, in particular cny, I will always be sure to visit mcdonalds for its beef prosperity burger. It is a pity that it is only available during festive seasons, because this is my favourite burger at mcdonalds. I love the succulent, juicy beef which is grilled to perfection and their hot pepper sauce which adds some heat to the burger. The onions also add crunch and flavour to the taste of the burger. Be sure not to miss it every season!
