Was invited to the Tasting of the Fiery Mala Burger (Level 4) on the 25th April 2014 atMcDonald's JEM. Wonderful evening as the FM 98.7 DJs were invited, it was the launch of the Level 4 Burger with games being played!This drink (Yuzu McFizz) is recommended to accompany the Burger as it cools off the heatness of the Food. The taste has lemon flavour. The Fiery Mala Burger is recommended for those who likes some hotness but definitely has not reached a Fiery point. The Pepper taste is strong. It comes as a Set Meal with a packet of fries and a Yuzu McFizz Drink.McDonald's has arranged for FM 98.7 DJs to entertain the registered guests for the Launch!Nice of McDonald's to organize this Event and each of us were given a Goodie Bag!

Everytime McDonald's come up with their new ice-cream, I will just ignore it. But this time it sure has caught my eye. MANDARIN Orange flavour burst, coffee flavour burst.. how can one actually ignore that?So I bought two at a go. Crazy but yes, after all it's $1... and there's more ice-cream than your traditional ice-cream on a motorbike kind of thing.The mandarin orange one really tasted like... mandarin orange. What more can I say? it was zesty and delicious!The coffee one was not as nice. in fact the lower part of the ice -cream was full of mandarin orange flavour burst... don't know whether to blame the machine or the person who made the ice-cream. and i love playing with mcdonald's ice-cream!! tried to make it look like a lotus but i think i fail terribly.at least it looks like a flower, i hope.okay i shall stop being lame. Happy Blessed Prosperous LUNAR New Year by the way. Do try McDonald's orange flavour burst and have some fun !

When I was dining at McDonald's I saw a new item sticker pasting on the ordering counter. They did not print this new item on the menu!The price was at $1 and looked cheap!Hence I ordered a piece to try. The skin of the Potato Croquette was very crispy and tasted like breaded crumbs.The filling inside was curry potato and peas. To my surprise, the filling tasted like curry puff filling. There was heavy curry powder taste and was spicy.Overall, I think it was a good delicious product selling at cheap price. McDonald's should rename this item as curry puff, it tasted more like curry puff than Potato Croquette.

McDonald is located next to Jem, and could be easily seen as a 2 floor glass building. The 24 hour sign is pasted on the door, though I am not sure if there is any fine prints. It is relatively empty on a sunday morning when i went, with the second floor almost vacant. I had the big breakfast with tea, standard Mcdonald's breakfast. I requested for another pack of jams and i spammed black pepper on the egg. Yummy!

My first visit to JEM macdonald and i realise that it is opened for 24 hours! It was located at another part of JEM which had two storey tall. Initially i didn't know what, until the manager guided me to the second floor. Second floor was much spacious that the first floor, maybe everyone was busy exploring the newly opened JEM. We could get a table easily. The environment was very clean including the chairs and table. I guess because is newly opened. On top of that, I was so surprised to see the auntie that was working in SP MAC there! We went to her counter to order food, she greeted us with a polite smile! Then next come my food I ordered: HOTCAKE WITH SAUSAGE!Well, i know is nothing special and is always on their menu! But this is my all times flavour! I really like the soft and hot hotcakes served by MacDonald especially dipped with the maple syrup and margarine! It is fattening and sweet but i can't be bothered about the calories anymore! I choose tea as my drink, but i think the standard of the hot tea dropped ever since they replaced coffeemate with milk! The hot tea and coffee is refillable but the taste of milk stopped me from refilling, is not sweet but taste weird. Last but not least, when the waitress cleared our plate when we finished our food. I really wanted to praise her for her alertness not only to my table but to all the customers at the second floor. i can't remember her name, i only know is an indian lady. Then when i am at the door, there are two ladies helping the customers to open and close the door. I didn't except them to greet me when i left Mac, because i had never seen it in other MAC before. It really made my day!
