My colleague had suggested to McDonalds for lunch since today is the lunch for Minions from Despicable me. McDonalds had set restrictions to the toys purchase ever since the kitty hoo-ha happened a couple of weeks back. Available only for dine in and take aways and limited to 3 happy meals per pax. As the launch has 3 minions weekly, we had ordered 3 happy meals with McWings add on at additional cost of S$2.00.Crowds are expected but everything is still under control. Ample of seating were available in the restaurant and most of the tables are ordering happy meals. McWings was rather disappointing although it was crispy and pipping hot. Tasteless!

This time, I gave their cappuccino a shot. It beat my expectations and then some. The taste was a little light and the body was thin, but I couldn’t get over the fact that it tasted like a genuine cappuccino, the kind that I’d expect to get at a coffee shop, not a fast food restaurant.I wouldn’t say that I’m a completely converted McCafe fan, but this was a major improvement over the cappuccino that I tasted a few weeks ago.It tasted and even looked like a cappuccino, complete with the foam on top. While it wasn’t the best cappuccino that I’ve ever had, it was miles above the so-called cappuccino that I’ve gotten at some gas stations, which was more along the lines of what I was expecting

I am not particularly a fan of fast food but when my kids wanted to have it for lunch, the whole family drove to a branch. Apparently they have something new in the menu, it is called chicken bites. It looked somewhat like kfc’s popcorn chicken but was not as crispy as kfc. However, the chicken was very tender and juicy. for a normal meal, there were 20 pieces. It was pretty filling actually, dun judge how tiny it looked but after eating 20 pcs with the fries, unlike the chicken served in mcdonalds, i somehow tasted the chicken bites were pretty sweet, i think they could have added something special to make it taste more delicious. i hope they keep this on their menu permanently as it is a great afternoon snack. Shaker fries are back and that was the draw my kids had to mcdonald’s. I prefer the seaweed flavor ones to the other shaker fries, somehow it tasted sweeter and more flavourful as compared to the rest.

My second time visit to mccafe this time i tried their cake instead of coffeeTheir cake is abit expensive but so far not badThis chocolates top is full of rich chocolates ,very creamythe cake base is moist & soft & also not very sweet overall i rate 7/10

Cheese cake and coffeeChill out at mc cafe in the afternoon as high tea. I had this cheese cake and a cup of coffee to enjoy my day. The staff even draws a "smile" word at the plate there using the coffee sauce which makes my day more happy. The coffee cream was fluffy and milky and creamy. The coffee was fragrant and quite thick, i love the consistency. The cheese cake was smooth and fine, flavourful and tasted awesome with the cup of hot coffee. This is indeed something great to have in the afternooon.
