Came here for dinner randomly, it was a good find!I like the wide variety of soup bases they have, we had the seafood and chicken clear soup as well as the milky pork broth.Noodles were good too Soup is slighty salty, especially the pork broth, but still ok! After roaming the whole shopping mall , finally settle down at Men-Ichi due to some restaurant packed with people on weekend. This restaurant is well design with comfortable chair they serve wide range of items as well. I ordered the roast pork fried rice and gyoza The fried rice flavour is good and sodt , with the fragrant of roasted pork. The Gyoza fillings are fresh, generous and crispy. I like chewy the skin and dip with the sauce.

I decided to try out at this ramen shop, cozy environment, I must say. Had lunch at Men-Ichi as we had a full promo card from Ichiban group of companies. We had gyoza, kanitama (omelette with mushroom), char siew don, and miso ramen. Every was ok except the char siew don. If this was not a promo item, then I would have asked them to send it back to the kitchen and just change it to something different. It was just pathetic. Continuing on my ramen hunt from Nantsuttei, Ippudo Ramen, Ramen Keisuke Tori King, I found myself at MENICHI @ Nex - a more commercialised/ contemporary sort of ramen place in a shopping mall. If the regular version isn't enough - go ahead and add toppings for yourself (so many to choose from!) - there's also FREE NOODLE UPSIZE - which I snapped up almost immediately. I was walking at Nex looking for dinner and finally decided to have ramen set at Menichi after checking out their menu.Shoyu Tonkatsu ramen set $16.90++Consist of ramen in Jap soy sauce broth, crispy chicken cutlet and sweet omelette.The ramen here was cooked just right and retained its springy texture. The noodles are amazingly springy in texture and the soup base was thick and full of flavour, which is a result of boiling the soup from pork bones, chicken bones and vegetables for over 12 hours. I was there with my missus last saturday for dinner. Wanted some Japanese food and missus suddenly have the craving for Ramen.Tonkotsu Ramen - I quite liked their soup. Rich and aromatic without being overly oily and doesn't gives you the "butterfly-in-your-stomach" queasy feeling. Soupy ramen at Men-Ichi.Ordered my normal bowl, Char Siew Shoyu Ramen.It is being served hot.The soup broth is nice, I will always finish it up whenever I had ramen at Men-Ichi.Charsiew had reasonable portion of fatty meat in every slice to give it the chewy taste.No complains about this. Ocha (Japanese Green Tea) is refillable in Men- Ichi. It helps in digestion.Good ramen at reasonable price.

Shokutsu 10 is a Japanaese food trail that consists of lots of good quality Japanese restaurants, MEN-ICHI is one of them. They are specialized in Ramen, where the soup broth is brewed for over 14 hours. We ordered set rather than ala carte during our first visit here. Men-ichi Japanese Ramen is located within Shokutsu 10 at B1 in Nex Mall, serving Japanese ramen noodles, cuisine and side dishes. Mrupupup had a very nice Japanese Pork Cha Sui Ramen Noodles with a half boiled egg and the side dish of Pork Buns. Vey nice! Mrupupup cleaned off the Japanese Ramen in the bowl! Men-ichi has decent set lunches in the afternoon with various types of side dishes. Yumzz!

My girlfriend suggested we had men-ichi for lunch. I am always gamed for a delicious bowl of ramen. I ordered this chicken teriyaki ramen. It was served in thick toniki (pork) broth. The soup was really thick and you can taste the richness in the soup. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The ramen was delicious too, it does not stick to the teeth. They were very generous with their bean sprouts and when you eat the bean sprouts together with the soup, you really will taste heaven!

Nex is really a huge shopping mall, after walking for quite a while, my friends and I decided to settle our lunch at men-ichi. Unlike other branches I been to, this branch actually did not have pickles for us to have our meal with. So disappointing. I really like their pickles! It taste really good.
