One of my many favourite hangout places include Men-ichi Japanese Ramen. Have ordered their Kyoto Chashu Ramen, Teriyaki Chicken Salad, Pan-Fried Chicken Gyoza & California Handroll. A casual feast to share between 2 people! Their tonkotsu soup are always rich and wonderful with right balance of pork and chicken porks boiled for over 12 hours. Located near the atrium of North Point, Men-ichi Ramen restaurant seems to be always crowded with long queues at the entrance. The interesting thing for this restaurant is that for their Ramen, you can opt to have 2 pieces of Charsiew at a cheaper price, or top up slightly for 5 pieces. I have always walked pass this restaurant but never went in so I decided to give it a go today.Waiting time at the queue was long as it's dinner time on a Friday evening. However our food was served relatively quickly after we ordered.While waiting for our food, we helped ourselves to this jar of prickled vegetables on the table - which is simply delicious! Men-ichi Kyoto located at Yishun's Northpoint serves one of the best ramen I have ever had. Other great Japanese cuisine on the menu includes a la carte items such as fried gyoza, sashimi and soft shell crab, and promotion bentos and value-for-money sets, which oftenly include a main, side, together with either chawanmushi or miso soup.The queue is a testimony for its popularity. Highly recommended.

My ramen craving is back! Come here with my friend for dinner, one bowl costs $16.I prefer Tonkotsu Ramen as the soup base is much nicer. This soup base is not as rich as Musashi Menya's, not very oily.Ramen was QQ, with 4 thick slices of char siew. The char siew was soft but the egg failed as it was not soft enough. After trying out so many ramen places, I find that Ramen Champion is still the best. Service was ok, waiting time about 15 minutes during dinner time.

One of my favourite japanese restaurant which serves really good Japanese ramentried their pork tonkatsu miso soup ramen. It come with 3-4 slices of pork & a runny japanese egg. love the soup!. its sweet and flavourful. you can opt for spicy varieties if you like it hot. noodles are spongy and of just the right texture. add an extra egg for 1 dollar & one slice of pork for $2.50great service and food is served quickly. My BFF and I decided to try out this place at Northpoint (Yishun). I visited this place for the first time today with my family, and we ordered quite a load of food. There was Paitan Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen, Fried Rice, Ichiban Don, Unagi Don, Tori Karaage, Softshell crab, and Ocha. Had lunch at Men-ichi Kyoto Tonkotsu Ramen! It is an authentic ramen house. We ordered the Char Siew Ramen- Roast Pork noodles in Tonkotsu Soup. The soup base is super duper flavourful. I couldn’t stop drinking the soup! The Char Siew was served in a very generous portion but has quite a bit of fats. It is very tasty though! Not too salty Yum Yum!

the gyoza at meni-chi is simply delicious. it is fried till very crispy on the outside. It’s skin is quite chewy. The meat they ue is very fresh.despite being fried, the gyoza remains very juicy. when you dip in vinegar. It is really delicious. this restaurant was quite tiny,luckily I came early or else we did not get a chance to eat this delicious gyoza.
