I had lunch at this hawker centre around a few weeks back. I didn't see anything that I particular like to eat in the hawker centre, hence I just settled for rice from the mixed rice stall. I ordered a total of three dishes, braised mushrooms, vegetables and brinjals. I had lunch at this hawker centre around a few weeks back. I didn't see anything that I particular like to eat in the hawker centre, hence I just settled for rice from the mixed rice stall. I ordered a total of three dishes, braised mushrooms, vegetables and brinjals. Even though there is no meat, the priced ended up to be that of 1 meat + 2 vegetable price, probably because of the mushrooms which are considered as a meat dish for most stalls. Nonetheless, I was glad I ordered the mushrooms as it is very juicy and well flavoured. The mushrooms are also quite plump and it has a nice texture. The brinjal is delicious, but a little too oily. I think it was probably fried before stir frying to give it its shape and glossy exterior.
