Mixed Vegetable Rice - Kopitiam (已結業)

This mix vegetable rice stall is always crowded during meals hours.  This time I have chosen to go around 3pm which there is no crowd here.  Stall is quite neat and many choices of dishes available here.  The counter staff is quite friendly too. For less than $4 is consider quite affordable.   Rice is fragrant and curry chicken is hot and tender full with the coconut fragrant.  Beansprouts are crunchy and fresh.  Sweet sour pork is abit soggy but meat is juicy.  Overall was not too bad.…查看更多

Didn't feel like having a heavy meal that day so I just ordered some vegetables and rice. There wasn't much of a variety of vegetables at this stall so I ended ordering similar kinds of vegetable and a toufu. The vegetables were not appetising because they looked oily on the plate and they were cold! :( Only the toufu was warm and I enjoyed it. The rice was also hard that day. This stall offers a very large variety of side dishes to choose from and the serving is very generous. However, for 2 meat + 2 veg I find that $5.70 is way to expensive. The vegetables were well cooked and seasoned and the squid was chewy and not overcooked. The pork however, was hard as a rock and chewing through it took alot of effort. Perhaps they did not tenderize the pork. I felt very thirsty after this meal, and this probably means that they put quite abit of MSG into their food.7/10…查看更多

I think among the countless times i had been to this food court and the many times that i ordered food from different stall holders, this is the cheapest meal i had.At $2.20 for 3 types of vegetables is just like HDB coffeeshop pricing.And this stall caught my attention because most of the food's gavy do not look oily and since i'm on vegetables diet today,i had a good lunch consists of bean spouts,kailans and cabbages with nicely cooked white rice.…查看更多
