I love the smell of soya bean which never fails to waft around your nostrils as you walk past a Mr. Bean stall. I bought the Honeydew Soya Milk ($2.30) as I was craving for it after trying it the previous time during their birthday promotion. I like this drink as the honeydew flavour was very outstanding but it doesn't fight with the taste of soya bean milk thus one could get 2 drinks for the price of 1! Honeydew juice + soya bean drink! There are also other flavours available such as watermelon and papaya! Bought the original silky soya pudding to try, because of the cute packaging! and was curious to find out the taste also. which cost me $2.00 ! (expensive)It was made by water, soya bean powder and sugar.When I removed the seal, it was watery on the top...It taste creamier than beancurd! i think mr bean pancake makes an awesome snack. I bought myself the chocolate filling pancake. The chocolate is not too sweet as well. the pancake is very chewy, it has this tinge of sweetness on its own. They added the just right amount of chocolate so it will not be too overwhelming. Brought a cup of cold Soya milk after lunch. The fragrance of the soya bean can be detected far away from the store. But the soya milk that I brought today was a bit different from what I brought in the past from the same store. The soya milk have a bit of a sandy texture, not as smooth as from the past. Every morning , I would long for something hot or warm to kick start my day. Now with the ever changing weather, it is like winter time for Singapore. I would purposely detour to Mr Bean at Yew Tee point to get a cup of hot soya bean. It comes in a Styrofoam cup instead of the normal plastic cup. This keeps the temperature high for a longer time.The soya milk is not too sweet, just the right sweetness. It is very milky and smooth and does not irritate your throat unlike some drinks.
