As first plan to have laksa next door, but the queue is extremely long so we have dessert in the end. The stall also have queue but not as bad as the laksa's one. Actually there are 2 queues at the dessert stall. Most people are queuing at the main queue which the uncle is handling the crowd. But if one is only ordering hot desserts, you may order at the side counter where all the hot desserts of the day are display. Something at most people do not know. Prices has increased over the year to the current from $1.20 onwards. The da mai (大麦) is quite thick and not too sweet.The hot version of bo bo cha cha is much sweeter, and has cubes of sweet potatoes, yam and red rubies. The red ruby is made of water chestnut with tapioca flour coating. Crunchy but very small pieces. Overall very tasty desserts. As the stall is quite busy, most of the tables has quite a number of dessert bowls that are not cleared. So overall the place is quite a sight. An aunty from the Laksa stall even put a stack of leftover bowls on my table, while I am still eating. (Shake head).

Since my secondary school days, this place has been a favorite haunt... A small coffee shop setting with make-shift tables and chairs, there are only three products for sale; hot/cold desserts, popiah and the famous Laksa!!Hot/Cold Desserts: With a wide range of desserts for selection, you will be spoil for choice!!Used to hate the ingredients of these cold desserts when i was young...Age really changes the hormones!!! Oh ya, the portion is BIG!!That is guaranteed to soothe any stressful emotion in a bad day!!

Though the laksa next door did not manage to amaze me but this bowl of ice kachang somewhat made up for it. This ice kachang is amongst the few desserts priced at $1.30. A pile of colorful shaved ice was served in a plastic disposable bowl then topped with quite a bit of sweetcorn. The level of sweetness was just right for me but might be a little intense to some as it was a slightly sweeter. A handful of ingredients like red beans, jelly cubes, atap seeds can be found under that pile of shaved ice. It was particularly enjoyable on a hot day.

It was a hot afternoon and a good place to chilli is at this snack shop. I wanted to order honeydew sago but was told they did not have it and they suggested watermelon sago instead. So, i ordered a watermelon sago and a chendol. The watermelon sago is $1 more expensive then the chendol. The taste wise, both desserts have met my expectations.The level of sweetness was just right and with a generous bit of ingredients given. I would think the chendol is a better choice as i love how the taste of coconut complemented the chendol well.

This Nice Snack Corner stall has been serving dessert for a long time, they used to sell very nice laksa here but the laksa stall shifted next door but the dessert here is still very nice. I order the ice kachang. The ice kachang is very good, the syrup drizzle on the ice is very sweet and tasty. The ingredients at the bottom of the bowl was also very nice.
