Original Delights - Food Junction (已結業)

Popiah is one of my favourite foods. It is relatively healthy inexpensive and really tasty. The one at this hawker stall in great world city is pretty good. It costs 2 dollars for one roll and is pretty big compared to other places although it is also more expensive. There are alot of crunchy bits in the popiah which add texture and contrast to the soft turnips and chewy skin.

The popiah here in this mall is quite good, I like it. It is of a rather big size and very tasty. It costs $2 per roll of popiah. There are two options: spicy or not spicy. The filling is juicy and savory with a crunchy bite from turnips; the popiah skin is supple, smooth and chewy. The combination works well altogether and the skin holds up the substantial filling. This experience puts this popiah place on the list of my favourite popiah places.

The dry hor fun here is really tasty. The noodles are fried with alot of skill such that they have a slightly smoky flavour from high heat cooking and are cooked to the right consistency. The noodles are just soft enough still retaining some bite without being overly mushy. They come with lots of delicious toppings too which add flavour and extra taste to the dish. Only qualm is that the portion is not very big for the price.
