Original Sliced Fish Soup - The Food Place

Heard from my friend that the fish noodle soup from this store tastes good and hence, decided to give it a try. Indeed, it is one of the best fish noodle soup which I have ever tried. Ordered the double fish noodle soup (which consists of both the fried fish and sliced fish) with milk. i ordered the fried fish milk soup for the food court at raffles city. I find the price pretty reasonable judging by the amount of fried fish there were in the soup. the soup with rice cost $4.50. the soup was very creamy because of the milk. It was not too salty as well. the fish was deep fried till very crispy but when soaked in the soup, it absorbed the richness of the soup and tasted very tasty. the fish they used is very fresh, no fishy smell at all. …查看更多

Been to this food court so many times and very seldom see queues here and my impression was not so good as i ever asked the lady server what kind of fish they use and she told me batang fish which can be very fishy if its not fresh and also i didn't like this fish because of past bad experiences.But,this stall proved me wrong,it's batang fish is so fresh and the fish head is quite big and i could enjoy the fresh meat in the pieces of fish head as compared to small fish head which don't have much meat.Also the soup is very rich in stocks and it's very tasty and the ginger slices in the bowl is also big and fresh.My only regret is i didnt try this stall earlier when my office was near City Hall.This stall has since become my first choice now whenever i go to City Hall as i'm a fish lover.…查看更多
