Christmas season and it meant lots of errands, Christmas shopping to be done! Quick meal on the go is the best choice for me. After shopping at Isetan Scott's, i went to Sun Moulin to get cranberry cheese and this cheesy stick. It taste good with affordable pricing and usually can't go wrong with their breads =)

This bakery shop has always been so crowded at the basement 1 of Shaw House, which makes me queue for almost five minutes before is my turn to make payment. This shop is really small but lots of choices available here. One of my favourite here will be their Queen Bread, looks really simple but there is this really rich butter flavour in it. The texture is very soft and with that slight sweetness in it as well. For the price of $2.20 for 4 big thick slices, is reasonable and satisfying! Count

What I like about the cinnamon roll here is that it has raisins in them! The texture of the cinnamon roll here is very rich and closer to a cake's texture, with a very sweet suggary glaze on top. I don't remember tasting much of the cinnamon though.I also decided to try their Chocolate Loaf bread since it seemed quite popular amongst the patrons here. This is the first time I have ever tried mochi in the form of bread. The exterior of the cheese mochi is like the exterior of bun, mildly crisp and soft at the same time, and the inside is stuffed with glutinous rice and melted cheese giving it a chewy bite like the traditional mochis! I ordered the mixed fruit birthday cake for my friends last week.Just need to order one day in advanced. I asked other shop before. I've got unfriendly reply and seems all busy. But when I went and ask at Sun Moulin, the staffs are friendly and helpful.Ordered the mixed fruit cake, costs $36 for sized 21.5 cm. It's good enough for 8 people.It included mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc. Really delicious and we love the fruit cut inside cake too.Much fun we had and satisfied with their service.

This cranberry cheese is comparable to the bakery that I always buy from as I love the taste of it! If i'm ever in town and craving for some cranberry and cheese bread, this will definitely be my choice! I like that there were many cranberry bits sprinkled around the bread and the bread was really really soft! The cheese was really fragrant too! I liked everything about it and I will definitely be back to buy more if I ever walk past this stall again!

A popular bakery, just next to the Isetan Supermarket. A wide range of unique, freshly baked bread on the display selves. Decided to go to Sun Moulin to get my breakfast buns and try their croquette bun (I've heard from my relatives about it so I thought I should give it a try since I'm at the Isetan basement.) I was walking past Sun Moulin on my way to the Isetan Scotts Supermarket to get some sushi when I saw a poster with the cutest Turtle Matcha Buns! They were too cute to pass, so I decided to grab one to snack on. If you are a fan of Melon-pan (one of my favourite sweet buns), then you will probably enjoy this Matcha Bun too. This is a MUST ORDER for me whenever i am at this bakery. Though it was fried but it did not taste oily at all. The filling of the curry potato was of the right texture. The curry taste is not spicy but a little sweet like how japanese version of curry should taste. I usually get a few to have it for snacks and even for breakfast the next day. There are other really nice buns available too.

I love the wide selection of breads here at Sun Moulin. I bought a few of their buns home and although I did not try all of them, my family members who ate them all commented that the breads are very nice with ample fillings. The one that I did try is the french bun. It has some bits of cheese within the bun and it is really delicious.
