I was alone and had a meeting at suntec city so i decided to have pasta box since it is convenient with the takeaway cutlery. i always had a good impression of pasta box because i like its packaging. I ordered creamy mushroom pasta. the first few mouthful was awesome but after more intake of it i kind of feel sick about it. it is too creamy , way too salty and i added plain water to it. i tried to finish the whole box of it but i just couldn't . …查看更多

We've had pasta at home, in restaurants, but have you ever had it in a take out box? :) Well, for the very first time, I actually tried pasta that was served with only a takeaway option, and packaged into a handy box with a fork placed at the side. It's conventional, and by the way, it's also delicious! I ordered carbonara with turkey bacon, while my sister had meatballs with spaghetti. To be honest, the portions are not big, and if you are really hungry, you need to add extra pasta/sauce/meat, which they gladly serve up, for a small added cost. I paid $6.90 for each of the pastas that I ordered, but I feel the price is a bit on the high side. There is a few variety to choose from and you can choose your vegetables, sauce, type of pasta, size, etc... It's not cheap since it's a takeaway and comes in a box. But the idea is cute and convenient. It's cooked to order so you'll have to wait. The sauces are nice and rounded and not overly salty. But they tend to run out of certain pastas at certain times and you might have to choose another pasta. This can be annoying since Carrefour is next door and they can easily buy more pasta. Located at B1 inside Suntec City, this shop was together at one corner with other snack shops like Old Chang Kee, Ya Kun Cafe and Silin Taiwan snacks etc. At one look, the picture of spaghetti and pasta was pasted on the small shop and the prices ranged from $5.90 to $11.90. It sell a variety of pasta like spaghetti carbonara, seafood spaghetti and spaghetti bolognaise. I chose the spaghetti bolognaise at $5.90. The takeaway packaging was quite creative as it was served in a paper box with a handle. I waited less than 10 minutes for the spaghetti. It had a herb tomato sauce and it is not too salty. Pasta Box is well hidden in Suntec City and after much wandering around, I found it!I dont think i can find any other eateries that actually serves PASTA in a takeaway box (like the ones westerners use for chinese takeaway food). I was that pleased and there are variety of pasta that you could choose from and you just have to wait between 10-15 mins which i find fast! Its only for Takeaway but you could stand and eat at a high table nearby if you want to eat it on the spot which i did=)They'll provide chilli & cheese flakes and they're pretty generous with the amount. The Pasta was piping hot and the amount is too much for me but i still think its worth 9 bucks. They werent selfish with the turkey bacon and chicken ham bits.Try it really if you're in the area!
