My boyfriend and I wanted Italian for dinner and decided to have PastaMania's pizza to satisfy our craving. We chose PastaMania as their food items are affordably priced but more importantly, their pizzas belong to the thin-crust category. To add on, there's only PastaMania and Pizza Hut that serve pizzas in Bishan anyway.. the former seemed like a slightly healthier choice.We shared a 12-inch pizza. The counter staff kindly informed us that we were allowed to have 2 flavors in one 12-inch pizza

We shared a 12-inch pizza. The counter staff kindly informed us that we were allowed to have 2 flavors in one 12-inch pizza. We had the spicy curry chicken and hot basil chicken. They were both really good, served warm and full of flavor, even better with a little splash of tobasco sauce.

The hot basil chicken flavor, though minced, was lean meat.. the hot basil chicken flavor was lean chicken meat too, very tasty. We also ordered drinks from PastaMania to go with our dinner.

Dropped in standards

It has been a while since I had my meal at PastaMania. When I decided to give another try, I was still quite disappointed as I find that the standards has dropped and the food was not as nice as before. It was very ordinary. I had the creamy chicken linguine. Personally I find the sauce a bit too creamy and lacking in flavours. After a few mouthful, I got sick of it. Maybe I had order the wrong item. Maybe next time I should try their recommended dishes instead.
