Good:- Ordered Seafood Tom Yum and loved it! It's cream-based but the mildy sour taste of tom yum could be tasted as well. At first it tastes weird, however it gets addictive as you eat along. Turns out that the combination is actually rather unique and great!- Contains a generous portion of seafood as well, including squid and clams.- Nice dining atmosphere.- Many varieties of pastas to choose from.Not-so-good:- The price of the pastas seem to have risen over the years. Our FREE dining event at Pasta Mania. Marinara, chicken bolognese, cream of chicken n garlic bread, passion fruit quencher, and honey lemon jello etc... Marinara is seafood tomato base pasta. the seafood don't taste very fresh. My favourite is still their spicy chicken pasta. The chilli is VERY spicy, and very shiok to eat it. I only eat their their tomato base pasta, as I tried before the creamy base pasta, and after finishing half a plate, I feel quite sick of it, because of the creamy base. PastaMania is well known for its cheap & good pasta. I believe majority people know pastamania. I love their garlic bread its very crispy and served hot most importantly! My favourite pasta is the Aglio Oglio which is a simple mix of garlic and chili. The fragrant of the garlic is not overwhelming but it would certainly delight those who love the freshness of garlic. The texture of the linguine was great too. Also, I feel that the ambience was good for casual dining as it wasn't too noisy. Although the seats were not very comfortable and the table was a little too small, the environment was still suitable for a quick meal and banter. The service, on the other hand, was surprisingly good. Although the dining concept at PastaMania is similar to that of a fast food restaurant, the staffs here are more attentive and friendly.…Read More

PastaMania is one of my least favourite places to go but this doesn't mean its bad, I just find that I always have very average experience here. So whenever I have to dine here, it's because my friend wants to. I don't enjoy the pasta selection so I simply went with the Basil Chicken Aglio, she had her choice of Linguine while I had my Penne. The pasta was cooked well with good texture that's neither too over nor under cooked. The sauce was a tad bit oily but the basil flavour is there. I didn't like the minced chicken that well because it was quite salty. tom yum seafood pasta $11.50Used the VIP card to purchase the pasta (takeaway at no additional costs) at 15% discount for $9.75. I ordered fuscilli pasta for this as fuscilli can hold the cream sauce well (other than the recommended penne). The fuscilli pasta absorbed the creamy tom yum sauce well. Cineleisure has many shops and activities to be done here: window shopping, K-Box or watch a movie at the theatres. *scape is also located just across the mall. There are so many options available here. Was at Cineleisure's Pastamania and we ordered a few items to satisfy our hunger pangs: Meatballs Pasta ($8.90), Cream Soup and Garlic Bread ($1.90). There is a narrow walk way dining, great for people watching. Many young teenage trendy crowds here! The Meatballs Pasta was average, the spaghetti's tomato herb sauce base was a little diluted in my opinion. Could be better if only it is thicker! :/ The Garlic Bread, the appetizer, is my favourite out of the three dishes we ordered. Pasta Mania was located at the central of Orchard Ceneleisure, whereby it was visible once you stepped into the building. It was a self-order based restaurant, and then the staffs will served your food once your food is ready. I ordered this, Aglio Olio with add on $0.30 for whole wheat spaghetti. Since both my sister and I were free on that day, we decided to go and catch an early movie at Cathay Cineleisure. As we had about 1.5 hour to kill before our movie and we were really hungry, we decided to pop by the Pastamania there to get our Pasta fix.What I ate and pricing: Prawn Aglio Olio, $11.90Like: The restaurant premises was clean and we got our food pretty quickly.Dislike: The service of the restaurant was pretty bad. After a night of shopping in town my friend and I decided to have dinner at Pastamania Cineleisure, as he was having a discount coupon. The place was crowded even though its already 9:30pm and what made it worst was that the way the tables and chairs were arranged just made the restaurant even more cramped. The only thing that stopped us from going someplace else for dinner was the discount coupon. I had the combo set of Chicken Baked Rice, which comes with soup-of-the-day, garlic bread and a drink. The soup-of-the-day, which was mushroom soup, was sadly bland and taste more of water than mushroom. The garlic bread was delicious; appropriate proportion of butter and garlic, and served hot. The Chicken Baked Rice was better than in other Pastamania outlets I have patronised; the cheese topping was generous and not burned to the sides of the plate. Despite the restaurant being full and hectic, my order was served in less than ten minutes, and that is commendable.The service staff looked like they have been going on and on for long hours. At one moment, the shift manager even stepped outside and motivated the service staff. Overall, the dinner was just below awesome, due to the crampy table arrangements. Imagine this; my table placed right next to the brick wall, my table and the next table is only one arm length apart, directly behind my table is the place the service staff collect dishes to be served. After a great day of shopping! I was famished! The only i could think of was PASTAMANIA ever since i was craving for that past few days! I usually order chicken sausage but i tried something different this time. Spicy chicken with fusilli pasta. I won't say it was that spicy. But it tasted really good. wasn't dry and the amount of chicken they add is pretty good. The tomato soup base pasta The soup base was quite nice. I don't get sick of it after eating a few mouth. Furthermore, the pasta they cooked is just all right. Its is not too hard. i was kind of spoilt for choice when I headed to pasta mania with a group of friends. I did not know what to eat so I ordered their basil chicken aglio. This was one for the few pasta that did not have sauce. so it was less fattening. I think they add quite a lot of garlic but it did brings out the flavor of the pasta. The minced meat was a little salty though, but when you eat it with the pasta. It was just right. I recommend this dish for those who are afraid of eating too much sauce.…Read More
