I always liked to order curry beef rice with cheese in pepper lunch! the cheese melts immediately when you mix the rice with the beef and cheese. Rice is a little sticky just like japanese rice so it is really chewy! Top with a little honey brown sauce and mix them well then the taste is really good! The curry is not spicy at all so you don't have to worry about the spiciness! Service here is fast and efficient so definitely will come back again

Dinner was a simple affair thing for us girl friends after our pool date Both me and H have the same idea of having Pepper Lunch, our must have when we dine at the Kopitiam there!I decide to have the Curry Cheese Chicken hot plate while H had the Salmon hot plate with extra rice and salmon slices!They were having a promotion now for the Salmon hot plate, Only $1 more than the usual portion Of course H decides to get that since it's so tempting As for me i usually will have the beef items from Pepper Lunch so i decide to get Curry Cheese Beef I super love it, one price for beef slices + curry taste + cheese! Only complains was that the portion is quite little having paid $6.50 for it I finished mine in no time, though it was very delicious but i do hope that its a bigger portion like H's

I decided to try the pepper lunch here. Normally I would go to the restaurant to enjoy my pepper lunch but decided to try the food court version. The pricing for the food court one is not much cheaper. I ordered the curry beef pepper rice. the portion is similar to that of the restaurant’s. the beef is sliced really thinly, it cooked pretty fast on the hot pan. The curry was not spicy at all, in fact it was kind of sweet instead.

could not decide what to eat so decided to give pepper lunch a second chance since it was having a new promotion for the chicken and scallop rice. i opt for no chili sauce since i do not really like spicy food so the staff added bbq sauce for me. then personally i also experimented with the sauces and i think the honey brown sauce went well with the rice. the disappointing thing was the chicken meat, it looked nice on the hot plate but when i took a closer look, almost 80% was fats and skin!

My son wanted the Salmon pepper lunch and seeing that the queue was quite short, about 3 people, I decided to queue for it. To my disappointment, the queue was progressing very slowly. I have eaten from many Pepper Lunch Express stalls and have more or less know how the plate was prepared. They were normally very fast. Not sure why this stall was so slow. Even the cashier taking the order was very slow.When it was my turn, I had to remind them to serve me the soup.When I looked at the plate that was served to me, the amount of salmon was so pathetic. It's not worth the $6.90. Even my son said that it was different from the others that he has eaten. This one didn't taste good. After mixing, I couldn't really taste the salmon, too little to begin with.
