Pepper Lunch Express - Food Junction

This is the Pepper Steak ($15.90 + $0.50 egg). It comes with a bowl of rice and miso soup. It also comes with a side serving of sauces that you can request for or add in on your own. I like to drizzle the honey brown sauce over my steak as the flavour will be infused in the steak. A note of caution: you have to be careful when you eat this as the oil from the beef will splatter sometimes. The bean sprouts also come slightly raw so people who dislike the distinct taste, make sure you cook it well! Pepper lunch is famous for well, encouraging its' customers to cook their own meals. This is just the normal beef with rice. When asked for take out, the condiments they give are really little. Maybe you could ask for more, but they might not give it as much as you want. It is packed in a small small container. The rice, to me, is more on the take out. Further more, it is also more oily than the one you eat in. You also cannot choose how much you want it to be cook (beef) unless otherwise requested. But it still does not taste as good as you might want it to be. Overall, not bad. I ordered the curry beef pepper rice for lot one pepper lunch express. As compared to the other food in the food court, it is definitely much more pricey, but when you compare to the pepper lunch outlet, it is slightly cheaper. I liked it that they served the curry separately in another container, you can add how much you like.
