Pepper Lunch Express - Kopitiam

I ordered my pepper lunch student meal at $7.50 with the ice cream added! Well, I chose curry chicken pepper rice with cheese; however, I asked the kitchen to do it without the cheese and the pepper. Firstly, because I think cheese in too fattening and because I am not pepper lover too. However, I think the curry powder will make you feel a bit sickening after awhile and you don't feel like continue eating. :( I disliked the taste of it. It was not spicy at all, maybe because it was Japanese curry. However, I do find the chicken tender and soft when is really nice. The iced peach tea was very nice. It was one of the restaurants that provide the nicest iced peach tea. The ice cream was what makes me angry! I ordered sea salt caramel flavour and I think there was something wrong with the machine. However, they didn't inform me when I was ordering and also didn't inform me when I collected my ice cream. They just passed me a chocolate ice cream and tell me sea salt caramel is not available for the day. Well, I only like sea salt caramel ice cream from Pepper Lunch and never like any other flavours. Pepper lunch is a DIY restaurant where you will get to cook your own food. The dishes will be served to you on a hot plate and you can add the amount of seasoning that you like. Pepper is one of my favourite spices. As the name of this stall suggested, the dishes were full of pepper. They have quite a good selection here. I ordered the spicy pepper beef and mushroom. Peppery alone was not enough for me, I wanted it spicy. I like my food hot and hot (spicy), so this sizzling spicy hotplate was really good for me. Very yummy. Pepper Lunch offer student with $5.9per dish.So i went there to have lunch with my friends.When the dish come,i can see the "smoke",means it is very hot.First,mix the rice,corn and the sauce together.This time,the sauce is not much,so my rice not completely mix with the sauce,this affect the taste.The beef is quite nice.The curry is quite nice.Like the taste of the curry powder.The rice is ok,the softness is just right.I like the corn,when i bite it,just like it a tyoe of jelly,the water will come out.The overall taste is quite nice..!…查看更多
