This is another popiah stall that i have been patronising regularly. The waiting time can be a little longer if you come during lunch. The juicy filling consists of popiah were the usual shredded turnip, bean sprouts and boiled egg firmly wrapped in a piece of soft, thin and rather chewy skin. I always requested to have extra chilli to go with my popiah. The level of spiciness for their chilli is rather comforting. Their popiah is priced at $1.20.

Another popular stall at this hawker. Queue is expected during weekends and the usual waiting is around 30 mins or less. It tasted homely. I know it sounded strange, but it does give me a home feeling when i am eating it. This is definitely one of my comfort foods. The only complaint about this popiah is the texture of the skin. The Uncle used 2 pieces of skin thus it ended up to be a little too thick and chewy. But, the freshness of the ingredients make up the difference, i can literally taste the crunchiness of the bean sprouts and i do love the clear taste of the turnips. It definitely has the right balance of the sweet sauce, fresh veggies and the crispy bits. Try it, to believe it.
