I love Popeye's mashed potatoes! The gravy is thick and it's chilli flakes make it taste so good! Take every scoop in your mouth and have it 'melt' in it, it is that soft! If they could add some pepper in it, boy I wonder how well it will taste along with the gravy.

Popeye's to me, serves up the best and tastiest fried chicken around town, and together with their cajun fries and AMAZING unique mashed potato, it is sure to win your heart as well The mashed potatoes is special coz it is the only one with chunks of other tasty ingredients inside that make eating it so worthwhile Not to forget, their buttermilk biscuits are pretty awesome too!

I had my lunch out after school with my classmates. I had a 2 piece chicken meal this time. My favorite part of eating at Popeye’s is the biscuit, I like how it's milky, warm, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it has the bursting 'melt in your mouth' effect, bonus with the strawberry jam.The chicken was pretty good too, though I'll actually still prefer my all-time favorite chicken tenders, excellent too but easier to have and healthier I feel. The Cajun fries were yummy as usual.

i am very happy to see the new branch at Ang mo kio as it is so much nearer to my house as compared with Chang airport. The chicken is very crispy and i love it! The tenderness and so juicy of the chicken but sometime can be a little bit greasy. i especially love the biscuit with jam and the mashed potatoes,the gravy tastes so different and once you eat it hardly you will forget the taste.

I had a 3 piece chicken tenders meal, with my drink upgraded to ice lemon tea for just a few cents more.The tenders are good, but the usual fried chicken ribs and drumlets are still better. Mainly because, I am not a fan of chicken breast meat to start off with and I feel that the tenders are really dry. At least the chicken ribs are juicy, makes the meal more enjoyable.

Popeyes, though more expensive than KFC but it's better than KFC in my opinion. The chicken they give, though oily, doesn't have that yellow, chunky fats underneath the skin. But people who likes spicy wouldn't like the spicy chicken as the spice is practically non-existent.Their mashed potato is definitely the best! My friends told me that Popeye's serves better fried chicken than KFC. sorry i'm ignorant. So i went to try this. The shop is new and besides the shops there are some renovation so it's a bit noisy. but inside the shop is comfortable. Air-cond and spacy.We ordered 2 combo.. each with 2 pc chicken, 1 bread/bun, mashed potato, a fishy thing and a drink. 4 of us shared the 2 sets and it's quite enough if you have a small stomach. I prefer Popeye's chicken to its obvious tough competitor- KFC. My favorite chicken item on its menu is the chicken tenders strips, they are just so damn good, the chicken meat is lean and the fried bread crumbs just fall off easily in your mouth as soon as you start to chew on one, juicy and hot. I also like Popeye's cajun fries, there is something really unique about it. Great fast food chain.

Remembered the day we've our first experience in Popeye Restaurant at it first branch, Changi Airport. The taste is totally different from KFC. And the price is consider alright for average student like us.Furthermore, DBS Credit/Debt cardholders have 10% discount on your birthday month (I don't know the promotion is still on) and 5% off total bill on normal days (still available -last updated 13 March 2011). Popeyes's current promotional item of the 5 pieces chicken drumlets with bbq sauce is awesome. It's $4.80 for 5 mini drumlets. As usual like other Popeyes chicken items, the drumlets are fried to crisp. They are juicy, tender and mouth-watering- simply irresistible. They are topped with bbq sauce, having more flavor apart from tomato and chilli sauce. I'd request for more of the bbq sauce next time. I’m also in love with Popeyes’s French fries.

Since we were at Ang Mo Kio and wanted to have fried chicken, we decided to go over to Jubilee entertainment complex to have popeyes chicken. We ordered the set meal for two as we find that it is more worth it. The chicken parts were very crispy and the meat not too dry. The fries were quite good. However I do not like the biscuit or sconge that came with the meal as personally I find it a bit hard and I do not like the texture. Overall, a good meal less the biscuit.

One of the best fried chicken I would say , even better than KFC the chicken set that comes with fries and biscuit to match with the jam , one word awesome however I find the fries servings too little !! I finished it in a short while , the chicken I gotten was quite small in size too that time and I even told my friend , " huh , no more already ? " It would be better if the chicken size could be a little big bigger , other than the fried chicken I like their sandwich too , the fish one I order

I like the cajun fries at Popeyes. The chicken i order was a tad dry. I had chosen the spicy version. I really enjoyed the fries there. My friend ordered the onion rings with the fish set. The fish set tastes good according to her.Its a nice place to hang out and have lunch. The waiting time is short and got our food pretty fast

I'm not a big fan of fast food but decided to give this restaurant a try coz I'm a risk taker.
