I happened to be in Bugis area (Liang Seah Street to be exact) and my fren recommended this Thai resturant to me. In case you are not aware, this is opened by a TCS Host aka Pornsak. Beside to satisfy my idol chasing crave, I thought, why not Thai food for a change? KekeIt's rather a small place and easily filled up with hungry diners during the lunch hours. Food wise, selection is not a lot but fair enough. We ordered a few dishes to share among the two of us.. Stir Fried Pork with Garlic - $8.

Bought a few vouchers at a discount from qoo10 due to recommendation from friends and newspapers . Porn's is a restaurant opened by artiste Pornsak was well decorated and offer wide range of Thai foods .We ordered the Phad Thai and mango sticky rice. The Phad Thai I liked the noodles cos it was soft and a generous serving of ingredients. The mango sticky rice was sticky and sweet that once eat you will continuous eating til finished.

Passed by Porn's and decided to give it a try. I ordered the lunch set, comprising of stir-fried chicken with garlic and rice, and a drink. The food smells very good, especially with the company of garlic. The chicken is very soft and tender, and it tastes very yummy! Specially came here for thai food as I heard that pornsak is the owner of this restaurant! Somehow i got certain expectations of the food here, maybe because he is from thailand lol We ordered Tom Yum Soup ( thick base ) , Fried chicken and kang kong. It was on a Friday night and I had brought my dinner partner along to try out the food at Porn’s. To my surprise, the place was totally filled with the dinner crowd and there are some people waiting outside to be seated. I just came back from my dinner at Liang Seah Street! Awesome pineapple rice! I would like to have more if possible! The portion is really quite small and charged the price $9.90 without GST and service charges. I particular like the cashew nuts added to the dish, when it is mixed with the rice, it taste so crunchy! The pork floss at the side improve the saltiness of the dish. Another thing is the prawn, it is so big and fresh. Definitely worth the price!

Porn's is a restaurant opened by celebrity Pornsak, which used to generate long queues, but I guess the fad died down due to the average food they serve. Compared to Ah Loy Thai and Nakhon Kitchen, Porn's pales in comparison, be it the food or the price. I popped by during lunch as I was planning to have Ah Chew for desserts, and had their tom yum soup; soup wasn't too spicy, just alright for me, and the amount of ingredients was also proportionate. Forgettable though.

This place has star power (google and you will know why). But the food unfortunately lacked the same star power. I tried the kang kong and found the balachan rather bland without the necessary wok hei for a flavorful plate. The tom yum soup could be done spicier with more generous ingredients. I only had like one small miserly prawn My rice was rather miserly. There was less than a bowl full and I asked them whether that was it and the servers just shrugged.

Having been here once and tried the tom yum soup, kangkong etc, when it first opened, wasn't very impressed as there was nothing special, especially considering that the prices are not that cheap compared to other thai food places. Passed by an decided to pop in for their set lunch, which comes with a main dish and a drink. I chose the fried chicken and although very tasty, the whole meal was quite bland with only few slices of fried egg and some veggies.

After a day of shopping at Bugis, we were contemplating between Porn's and Itacho Sushi for dinner. Porn's is opened by Pornsak! I went there on an impromptu visit and ordered the tom yum soup and pad thai. I find it rather average, nothing worth raving about. I've heard so much about Porn's online and felt that it was quite overrated. Perhaps it's because it's opened by a local celebrity? I don't think I will go back anytime soon, unless I have a serious craving for thai food ..
