Another Yummy Goodness in Lao Zhong Zhong Eating House! The signage of the porridge stall relates it product to Soon Li Whitley Food Centre and I was told it was quite reputable in terms of their Porridge. We shared a bowl of Pork Porridge with egg over dinner to test out. Wow, immediately after one spoonful of porridge, it reminded me of Soon Lee's Porridge in Clementi Hawker Centre. Not sure if they are related as their name is rather close.Porridge was served with cut You Tiao and fried onions sprinkled with some green spring onions on its top. As you digged your spoon into the hot bowl, you will get to find the generous amount of pork (lean meat, minced meat, livers) - good stuff. Every spoonful of porridge was thick and gluey, rich and strong in flavourr. They are my favourite! And of course I would prefer this bowl of porridge to the one in Clementi. When Compared, they are not too oily and watery.
