I chanced upon this shop in Raffles City Shopping Centre selling a variety of baked potatoes with different fillings. Being a fan of all things potato, I tried the Chicken Curry Baked Potato set, which came with a drink, soup and salad. Let me finish the negatives first: the soup tasted odd. I'm not sure what soup it's supposed to be, but I'm assuming it has cheese and potato. Whatever the case, it didn't really work out for me.Now to the star of the meal - the baked potato. It was baked close to perfection in my opinion. The potato was soft and I could cut into the potato skin easily and eat it together with the potato, as compared to some starchy potatoes that I'd have to end up disposing the skin. The potato was also relatively big, bigger than the classic Jack's Place's ones. I wasn't too impressed with the curry chicken filling. It wasn't bad, just nothing special. I was glad that they were generous with the curry though. I'd hate to finish all the sauce and still have potato leftover. Some other interesting potatoes on the menu are Chilli Con Carne and P.D. Original. If you're a fan of potatoes, you can't miss this one.

Everything when I walk past, I noticed this stall there at Raffles City. I tried ordering the breakfast set that they have as I was tempted by their sunny side eggs. The set cost about $6.90 which includes one sausage, two eggs, potato salad, red beans and tea. Overall it was a set worth to get and food was acceptable. There have many selections of other choices of baked potatoes as well. I will drop by if I need to have a quick meal in the area.

Outside is having a heavy downpour, so have to stay here for a while. Since it is lunch time, might as well as find some food. But it is peak hour, everywhere is queues.Somehow ended up here as there is no queue. A look at the price, seems OK as I could get a set meal under $10. After making payment at the cashier, just find a table. Food will be served to you.P.D. Original set meal ($7.90) - comes with soup, drink & salad.P.D. Original potato is huge and pipping hot. Soft and fluffy potato, filled with lots of sour cream (my favourite), topped with overflowing bacon bits. The bacon bits taste of a hint of curry, look like dried bottled version.Hi all, the potatoes displayed on the counter are real. Happen to see them pouring buckets of freshly cooked potatoes into the narrow space.

Being a potato lover, I could not resist to walk in this restaurant to dine. And I had not REGRETTED any bit! So far I had not discovered any "potato" stores in Singapore and this is the first one I had encounter. Totally fell in love with the potato and it could come with a set. Defiantly worth it and even if you are not a potato lover, do give it a try! The serving were just right and don't worry, it would fill you up because it is potato!

I never know just the potato itself can be make into a main course until I try the version her at Potato Depot. The potato is quite big in portion and is really soft and moist in texture. The added crispy bacons certainly has enhanced the taste of it and make it very appetitizing. The side dish, which is the garden salad is also very fresh and good for health as well. It is also includes small cup of soup and soft drink too. Very value for money.
