Christmas late shopping at VivoCity. Visited to this restaurant at corner. Their signature disk is roasted half chicken with mushroom sauce, agiio olio pasta and chestnut rice. Poulet signature chicken served in a big disk and white mushroom sauce. It is milky colour tasted very nice like mushroom and thick. Cut a slide and sink into this sauce is heaven inside your mouth. Half size possible for 1-2ppl. This pasta consists of garlic, olive oil , bacon and chicken piece. Well cooked and good combination of ingredients. LIKE 👍Chestnut rice not my favourite. The rice seem not ripe and dry. The aroma of rice is not strong. Possibly my first try for this dish. Hope it is a fantastic for others. The overall place is cool and well decorated. 繼續閱讀

It is my second visit to Poulet again haha Well, tried their another version of Poulet Roti whereby the sauce is replaced with Cranberry sauce and Mustard. The Cranberry sauce itself alone was pretty flavourful, not too sweet and a tingy sourish. But sadly, I think the original sauce still beats this new version. Tried something new as appetizer and I totally love this one. The combination of feta cheese, tomatoes and sultanas totally beats me. I kept popping in the tomatoes one after another. It was really good and it was a bonus that it was served chilled. ahhh yum yummzzz ^^Satisfied! I shall make a visit every month to this place especially if I feel like having some healthy roast chicken 繼續閱讀

I have been seeing a lot of Poulet outlets sprouting up in many different outlets in Singapore and so one day I decided I had to go check out their menu.We started with Saucisson, which are essentially pork sausages. They were juicy and practically bursting with flavour. So good. Oily but good.We also ordered the Poulet Roti - Signature Roasted Chicken. Its creamy and the chicken was cooked so soft that one can peel the meat off easily.Next was the Oxtail de Bourguignon (oxtail in red wine sauce) which was quite pleasant. However i am not a big fan of beef so I couldn't really appreciate it as compared to my friends.Besides the mains, we ordered French Onion Soup and Country Side Mushroom Soup. While the onion soup turns out to be a very sweet soup, the mushroom soup is the best among the two! The latter was surprisingly tasty. One sip and you know immediately that its mushrooms. What better way to end a meal then some dessert? We ordered Tiramisu, a hot favourite among the other patrons (we observed many people ordering it). The size and manner which it was presented makes it seem like value for money. It’s creamy, soft, and fluffy. Great for sharing.Poulet seems like a good idea if you adore French cuisine. Do head on down to the restaurant closest to you for a taste of France. 繼續閱讀

My colleagues and blogger friends have been raving about Poulet and I am so glad we get to eat there last Saturday. We arrived just in time for lunch and the place is close to full house. Have we arrived later, we might have to wait for a while to get a table. That's how good the business is for Poulet. They do deserve all the raves about their food and service. You get great value for your bucks plus you are guaranteed an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Here's what we ordered:Country Side Mushroom Soup - this cream of wild mushroom and Idaho potato made the mushroom lover me wild and happy! Salad de Paris - chopped garden salad, dried cranberry, tomato, avocado, black olive and roasted pine nut served with French dressing. The hubby liked it so much that he asked me to come up with my own version of Salad de Paris at home. Poulet Roti - Oh am geeee! This is sooooo good! The chicken apparently was brined for a full day in a traditional recipe then placed in the rotiserrie for a slow roast until the skin tans to a golden brown. The homemade mushroom Chardonay sauce complimented the perfectly roasted chicken! This is a definitely a MUST TRY!Iberico Pork Belly - braised spanish Iberico pork belly served with mashed potato, leek confit and double mustard. The marriage of the mashed po, leek and mustard taste created an unforgettable savoury taste to this dish! Four thumbs up from my girl and the hubby! Another MUST TRY in my book!Tiramisu in a mason jar - this is all i can say; It deserves all the raves from my colleague who recommended it to me. I am so happy I get to take home the mason jar too for $5!We are definitely coming back to eat at Poulet soon! Thinking of bringing my university friends in their Bugis branch for my birthday treat. http://www.sweetmemoirs.com/2013/10/yummylicious-lunch-at-poulet.html 繼續閱讀

Poulet is a restaurant under the Thai Express group, the same guys who brought to you brands like Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, New York New York, Buffet Town, Shokudo Concepts, Kiseki, Pin Le and Heng Heng Curry. It’s already been a year since the first Poulet outlet had opened at Bugis+ after the mall’s renovations to transform itself from the former Iluma to its current identity. Now , five outlets operate all over the island, with its latest outlet located in Vivocity. The Saute Wild Mushrooms ($7.80) contains three types of mushrooms; Button Mushrooms, Shumeiji Mushrooms and King Oyster Mushrooms. The deep earthy flavour just simply bursts in your mouth and along with the runny poached egg with an egg yolk eager to burst once poked, it is a definite must to order if your favourite brunch items include mushrooms and poached eggs. The “Roti” from Poulet Roti ($15.80) actually means Rotisserie. While there are quite a substantial amount of mains offered in the menu, the Poulet Roti is definitely something one should never miss when they visit Poulet. One cannot deny it’s popularity amongst the patrons; every single table occupied had a plate of Poulet Roti ordered. The Poulet Roti can be ordered as a half chicken or a whole chicken dish. What is so good about it is the marvelous combination of the honey-glazed chicken with the creamy Mushroom Chardonnay Sauce which made is so delectable. Along with the tender roasted chicken with such flavour that came off from the bones so easily, it was a dish that was simply hard to forget. Strongly recommended for anyone who had never visited Poulet before. The Tiramisu ($7.80) is one of the stars of Poulet as well, with most people whom had visited them ordering it. The airy but creamy Mascarpone Cheese brings a light taste to the Tiramisu, while the cocoa powder adds a sweet chocolate-y goodness over the cream cheese. The cake was also nicely doused in rum and coffee, with the cake oozing out coffee with every bite yet not becoming too soft or crumbly despite absorbing all the liquid. It was one of the better Tiramisus I had ever had for now.The Banana Bread Pudding ($6.80) was nice but not outstanding. We loved the fact it was served extremely hot, and the bread pudding was immediately able to soak up the melting Vanilla Ice-Cream served on top of the bread pudding. The taste of banana was evident, but the bread pudding was a bit too dense and stiff for out liking. The Long Black ($3.90) certainly had a very pretty presentation as compared to other places. A much appreciated detail was that the milk that accompanied the Long Black was warmed, therefore would not decrease the temperature of the coffee if added. For more photos and the full review, please visit: http://jiaksimipng.wordpress.com/2013/10/12/poulet-vivocity/ 繼續閱讀
