After a long shopping fun trip with my friend, I decided to stop by this Prata shop to have a simple dinner. Had two pieces of plain pratas ($1.20 each and minimum 2 pieces per purchase). It took the chef above ten minutes to prepare my pratas before is ready for my pick up from their counter. The pratas are fluffy and light, and also not too oily as well. I was served with their fish curry sauce which is thick and not too spicy. Service staffs here are friendly and the shop is spacious and comfortable. 繼續閱讀

Prata Wala has become a chain of indian restaurants, regularly visited by indians and both chinese alike. The highlight of the restaurant includes of course the traditional roti prats and other more traditional indian cuisine such as paneh and all types of indian curry.I ordered their cheapest, garlic naan at $3.80. i have heard many raving good reviews about the naan and decided to try, hoping that there will not be too high an expectation.truly it has lived up to its reputation! the naan was thick on the inside, and crispy on the outside. it also carried the smell of garlics, and even though it may irk people off, to me it smelled very fragrant! i loved the curry that accompanied with it as well, most probably a simple red curry. if you want to order any other type of curry, the cheapest one would be at least $6+! i waited really long for my naan, about 20 minutes. the service was really slow. 繼續閱讀

Prata Wala had its catchy name, offered both main course and snacks with kitchen enclosed to public. Self-service basis, we need to pay first as we ordered. Given a buzz dongle, we waited to be notified. It was first time I was eating Indian Cuisine without ordering something spiciness.Mamak fresh-brewed Teh was the one we cannot neglected, three of us had our Iced and Hot Teh C. Hot version was always cheaper, $1.80 whereas Iced Tea was $2.50. So, we shared it, crisp thinly piece of Prata. It looked attractive after pouring the Chocolate Syrup, I wondered how the Prata Man handle such huge slice of flat serving. We felt like eating biscuit, light and healthy biscuit. Taste was robust, tongue was pampered by the sweetly and crusty sensation. It was perfect to eat while just ready, $2.80 for plain Paper Prata and additional $1.00 for topping. Cheap and pleasant supper-ing, we enjoyed. 繼續閱讀

I met a friend at Bishan Junction 8, Prata Wala has a new branch at Junction 8 basement, it replaces the original Ajiesen Ramen(moved to another side) after renovation. Both of us like prata so we decided to go in. It was quite full house during the dinner time, but luckily we met some friends and secured the seat.Murtabak Chicken($8.50) - 1st time I had murtabak in Singapore. It is different from the one I tried in Malaysia, this version is thinner but taste quite good. The skin is crispy and good to go with the curry chicken. Overall, I quite like it but a bit pricey if compare with others. 繼續閱讀

The FoodI ordered the Chicken Briyani Rice ($6.50) that comes with Achar and Papadom. The basmati rice was a little bland but the savoury and fragrant curry enhance the taste. Even though the curry was a bit oily but overall I still like the taste as is thick and aromatic. The papadom was really crispy and awesome too.The PriceReasonably priced at $6.50 for decent portionOverallI will definitely come back again to try other dishes and highly recommended to try this! 繼續閱讀
