This is a little known Japanese bakery with only one outlet in Singapore. Understand it has been operating from its present place at Millenia Walk for about 5 years now.This is one bakery which I will go out of the way to get its bread and pastries. I've become a fan of it. All its pastries here are really good. I would attribute it to its bread, which is awesome. It's different from any other bakery where the bread is really fluffy AND tasty. From the very basic hotdog to my favourite bacon & egg bread and it's flagship curry buns, everything they dish out is seriously fresh and tasty. I had heard this famous Hokkaido Bakery opening a branch in Singapore sometime back, but did not have the chance to try due to its inconvenience location.Today I chance upon this Bakery and went in to buy a few Fried Curry Poato Bun. At $2.50 each, the pricing was quite high as compared to many other popular bakeries in a shopping mall.The Fried Curry Potato Bun had a slightly "Burnt" skin. I guess they had over-used the oil for deep frying their food. And the taste of the bun's skin was also slightly "Burnt", though the skin was still very crispy when I reached home.When I cut open the Curry Bun, I can smell the aroma of sweet curry. I actually hardly come to Millenia Walk but on certain occasions when i'm here for a meal with my friend, i will try to come to this bakery. The Egg & Bacon bread is something that i will always buy. This time i tried the Pear Danish too.I love both! Pear Danish is more on the refreshing side due to the fruit and it's divine with the flaky pastry. My friend very generously treated me to their specialty buns, insisting that I should try their Curry buns. I was at first skeptical, but one bite of this bread and I feel in love. The curry filling inside is very generous with pieces of potato and meat, marinated in savoury Japanese curry. The curry isn't too spicy, since it's Japanese style, so it's really rich and fragrant. the bread that covers this filling is not too thick but fluffy, and I'm still amazed at how it is able to hold the generous portions of curry filling inside. love their creamy milky stuff, which they have lots here. the custard filling part is great but the bread itself is too hard. it's so hard i almost broke my teeth pulling on the bread. very very tough. service is alright but not very friendly. there's lots of cute looking pastries, cookies and different breads. i haven't tried their signature curry fried bun as it didn't really look that great to me. otherwise, most of their other breads are alright except for the ones which they try to do "french style" which end up very hard and difficult to chew!…查看更多

the breads are supposed to be japanese, , etc... it's a fusion of french and japanese. rather expensive too. not to the extent of the full french bakeries but still pretty expensive. nice variety, but i found that most of the breads are hard - not soft. and you have to really chew it and struggle a bit. the custard choux pastry thing was alright. but of course, beard papa's is still the best. the choux pastry here is hard as well. it's not stale. just not soft! it's easy location to get to. staff is alright. not the most friendly. there are a few sandwiches in the cold section if you prefer those. nothing really outstanding here...…查看更多

I was surprised by the quality of breads at this bakery. It looks like another Breadtalk type place but it's more Japanese and it's actually better in some ways than Breadtalk. The Japanese curry bun is quite famous here. But I prefer their other breads, which are soft and fragrant and some are quite unique. I had one of their "milk bread" things which are in fact sticks of white crusty bread with sweet cream filling inside. The cream is thick and a bit custardy but soft and sweet and very rich.…查看更多

This is a Hokkaido bakery so they have lots of milky stuff. Their milk bread is not like at St Leaven's which is buttery condensed milk and sugar on the bread. Theirs is baked into the bread so the bread is milky. Very interesting. Overall everything is pretty buttery and milk in the store. It's very good tasting if you don't mind the richness. was working part time at millenia walk a few days ago and i had this for lunch break as i had a heavy breakfast. so for the past few days of lunch, i had been eating bread from pullman bakery. And they have seats outside the bakery which is good because you dont have to squeeze with the lunch crowd. The crispy curry bun is one of the nicest curry bun i ate! (picture) the filling is just so fragrance and not too spicy for my liking, and the nicely made bun is crispy on surface but very soft on the inside. m y college that works there as full time told me that i was lucky because usually it is sold out. alright, its true because for the next 3 visits i didnt get the chance to eat it. and i go for the other bun one of it was the cheesy bun (which i dont really like because they have the mayo+ cheese squeeze and concentrate on one side of the bun which makes it really salty) but the mini sweet potato croissant and the original croissant is really good! try it! mini sweet potato croissant cost 50 cents, mini original croissant cost 40 cents, curry bun cost around $2+ (cant remember the exact)The staffs there are friendly and smiley too. service is fast although its long queue sometimes. …查看更多
