The recommended dish was pork and miso eggplant set rice but I chose the Teriyaki Salmon ($15) The grilled salmon glazed with the shiny brown sauce was slightly tough and not impressive. However, the rich sauce is enough to go with the Hokkaido short grains served here. The sweet marinated cold daikon topped with white miso was much attractive than the pickles.Others include the pomfret fish with tofu. According to a Japanese colleague, it is rare to find this fish served in Japanese menu. Well, this reminded me of steamed Teochew pomfret with tofu but a generous portion to be served as an individual set.The Ebi Tempura Set The deep fried pork cutlet setThis place also serve staples such as curry rice, udon, unagi dons and soba.
