Located in the purple zone and also a corner of Central is Ramen Santouka. This was their first outlet in Singapore. Their second outlet resides in Cuppage Plaza in Orchard Road. Santouka’s founder Hitoshi Hatanaka opened his own ramen shop at Hokkaido in 1988 because he was unsatisfied with all other ramen establishments. Its thin-noodle ramen with elegant broth topped perfectly with mouthwatering slices of char-siu pork and pickled plums gained popularity in Hokkaido immediately. Now in 2015,

I enjoyed my bowl of ramen as it didn't have me craving for water like the ramen from other competitors which are ladden with MSG leave me.
