This Indonesian Stall is one of the hot favourites during lunch and dinner time at Jurong Point.During lunch and dinner, there will be long queues, waiting time can be up to 30mins because every order was made fresh, the chef need to grill the chicken or fish.The stall aunty was quite stingy with their famous sambal chilli sauce. You need to tell her add many many, else you will be given only a teaspoon of sambal chilli sauce. I worked overtime and was very hungry, so I decided to packet this Grilled Chicken set meal home to eat. It comes with a huge yummy chicken drumstick, egg omelette, a bowl of rice. I love the huge chicken drumstick. The meat is tender, tasty and the BBQ sauce that accompanies it simply complements the chicken meat and helps to add flavors to it. The combination of the huge chicken drumstick and the BBQ sauce is simply awesome. However the egg omelette tasted normal.I think this Grilled Chicken Set meal cost around $5. I was here to have lunch with a colleague. I ordered the grilled chicken leg with the malay style white curry gravy. It came with a piece of omelette too. The coconut milk infused gravy has got a strong coconut taste. Its taste was not as spicy as the normal red curry gravy but more creamy with a hint of slight spiciness. This Grilled fish set is very delicious. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce on it was very nice too. It goes very well with the rice. However, the fish was a little oily as I can see the oil itself on the side of the fish with the sauce. The egg tastes good together with the fish and rice. Love this Indonesian cuisine as it is really cheap and affordable. Most importantly, it tastes really delicious! Huge barberque whole drumstick is served on the plate. The sauce used to marinate the chicken is really sweet and tasty. Cabbage is served to make the full set a healthier version. A lighter version of curry gravy is also available for us to pour onto the rice to add on that additional flavour to this dish.
