Located near Drama Centre aka National Library Building, Rocky master is easily access via public transport with bus stop just at the doorstep of the eatery and within minutes walk from Bugis MRT. The renovation here adopted simple cosy cafe concept with some outdoor seatings. Personally I find this place very comfortable to chill especially if you are lucky enough to get a sofa seat. However do note that there are no power outlets or wifi available here.The menu here is rather interesting as they offer a wide range of different cuisines from indian, chinese to western. I ordered lemonade( $4.50) and the coffee (devil's brew) came in a set together with the american breakfast($13.50). While the lemonade tasted rather ordinary, the coffee was smooth and fragrant. Not the best coffee in town but definitely worth trying.Cream of mushroom ($6.50) here was really good. IMO it's better than the ones in soup spoon. Not only is the soup thick and creamy with small mushroom chucks, the garlic bread is toasted to crispy with finely minced garlic on top. I am sure after you have this, vampire will shun away from you. lol..Just kidding.For the American breakfast, there is a choice of how you want your eggs to be done and I choose sunny side up. The egg yolks were runny( in the good way), the harsh brown was better than the ones at McDonald's and the best of all is the turkey bacon which was soft and tender with similar texture to ham.Overall I like this cafe as the service here was good, fast and friendly. On top of that, the food served was good and the price was affordable. Definitely a place worth going back again when i am in the vicinity.

Rocky Master is definitely one of my favorite cafe's! Mostly because the prices are reasonable and the food is good! One of my favorite cakes from this cafe is the peanut butter stack. The cake is topped off with rich chocolate frosting and is layered with peanut butter as well as chocolate. It is so rich and is bound to make you crave for more with just a few bites. The cake is pretty similar to the one at starbucks, however its less crunchy and definitely not too sweet. The portion is pretty big and would be ideal for sharing. I also find the frosting to be generous. The ambiance is also great for reading as well as chilling out with friends

Amazing place with superb nice staffs! There's this particular staff with short hair, didn't catch her name though. She recommended me Turkey Club sandwich. It didn't look appealing from the photo but let me tell you. It is simply delicious!! A must try! Half way throughout my meal, she even came over and ask how was it. Tip-top service though its only a small cafe! Also, it was raining cats and dogs thus i ordered a cup of pipping hot chocolate. It was fantastic! Eclair on the other hand, wasn't to my liking. Overall experience, I will definitely head back again for more!

Catching a show at Drama Centre and thought Rocky Masters will be a good place for a quick bite. We ordered: 1) Mushroom Soup - we ordered a large one to share and it arrived with 2 slices of garlic bread. The serving size could fight the Soup Spoon and I find their mushroom soup better than Soup Spoon's. It's got real chunks of mushroom bits in it and not watery like some canned versions. It's good enough to stand as a meal. Thumbs up. 2) Laksa - the bowl arrived with the ingredients very pretty arranged. But who cares about looks if the taste is bad right? Wonderful surprise as the gravy is lemak and the ingredients plentiful. Worth the $8.90 pricing. Very nice indeed. 3) Baked Spinach Macaroni - portion is large and again the ingredients of Spinach, carrots, onions and cheese were not stingy. First bite...I found it bland and hubby thought so too. With a few dashes of salt, it's much tastier. Good dish of you like spinach, carrots and cheese because it had loads of them. Hubby liked it ok but there's no meat so it was not great for him. It was a nice place and we MAY pop in again to check out other stuff.
