Was staying over at one of the RWS hotel and saw that Ruyi had breakfast sets so we went there for breakfast! The breakfast menu had Fish/Chicken Porridge and fried rice and they come with a cup of coffee/tea for $5.50! Their non-breakfast menu is also available in the morning as well. Service was quite efficient, we got the our food immediately after ordering! I bought the chicken porridge to share with my friend. Personally I didn't like the porridge. It's quite grainy and not the smoother and silkier kind of porridge that I anticipated. It's also quite salty even without soy sauce. Furthermore the chicken taste like it's leftover from the night before because the meat is quite hard. In the end, my friend and I didn't even finish it even though it's not a very big bowl. The tea came in quite a small paper cup. It would be better if it's refillable. Overall, I think for $5.50, it's not worth it for breakfast. 繼續閱讀

We decided to have a simple dinner at Ruyi resturant as hubby needed to rush off to work after this. This was the second time we dined at Ruyi, the first time we had "Ruyi" is at the airport before we departed for Melbourne last December.Nice flower-shaped ceiling lamps in the restaurant. This is Chinese Fast Food. Many of the cooking processes are done automated. However, I don't find their signature Ruyi Fried Rice very nice. It was a bit dry and salty. $6.20 for this bowl of fried rice is really a tad expensive. Their soup, which come together in the set, was even more salty. 繼續閱讀

The previous time I had Ruyi before and was disappointed. I tried again because this is the cheapest option here. They use paper containers to serve food, portion was quite small. The last time I tried their rice so this time I tried their noodles. It was nice, really liked the noodles. The seasoning was light and not salty at all. Price is consider cheap, as nothing is cheap here, waiting time about 10mins. 繼續閱讀

We tried the fried rice, carrot cake, char siew bun and gyoza for breakfast at RWS. Feel that the portion of the fried rice is a bit little for the price. Taste wise would think that it is so-so only. Liked the char siew bun and gyoza. The carrot cake looks a bit burnt, otherwise ok.Quite a crowded place for breakfast...a good alternative if you're not taking the breakfasts from the hotels. 繼續閱讀
