the photo of food shown above is the chicken rice soup. it is very healthy i would say. i recommend friend and family to drink the soup before you eat the porridge first. the chicken cubes are tender. the seasoning for this rice soup is very nice too! you should try this with your family! it good to share among with friend too

Sapporo Ramen Sanomaru

Looking at the review pictures of the ice cream and waffle just made me and my partner green with envy. We headed there to see if the green tea matcha azuki ice cream was that nice and we were not disappointed. The ice cream is smooth and tastes awesome. The waffle is similar to what you can find at the supermarkets but the red bean is so sweet, yummy!

Sapporo Ramen Sanomaru

We discover this place by chance as we were just window shopping in Raffles place ! So the boss ( i didn't even realise his is the boss until we asked )is standing outside the shop and welcome us with a warm greeting of japanese, KOBANWA ! We browse through the menu and i was attracted to the curry rice !!! But we just eaten some foods so we decided to walk few more rounds first before we decided whether to try the food or not. OK, in the end we walked in !!! haha ...which is why i can make the

I ordered the CURRY RICE !!! $10.80 and a sesame as dessert $4

While my friend ordered a salmon creamy omu rice $12.80 and a honey toast bread with ice-cream for her dessert.

Well, all is nice just that i would prefer more for my friend salmon omu rice !!! Especially the sauce ...

Oya , almost forget to mention that the rice set also come with salad ! SEE so good

To sum up, i will go back and try for more meals ^ ^

Ramen Soup Porridge

They are famous for its miso Ramen. I went to try out their Zousai, which is the Ramen soup porridge. There are 4 choices to choose from - Kimchi; Chicken; Mushroom or Kanikama. Oh... it equally yummy and I do not feel thirty after the meal. 1 pot can go for 2 persons, if you have a small stomach...If you have a flu, go for it and you get well fast... because the porridge is serve piping hot... yum yum...To cool yourself down a little, go for the dessert Maccha Kintoki.A happy tummy put a smile

Green tea ice cream~~

One of my fave brand of ice cream for green tea is haagen-dazWas passing by the area for some errands and decided to drop by for a little pampering~Their ice cream here is somewhat similar...There's the green tea taste and it's not too milky or bland...It's soft and smooth blend unlike many other places~They even have red bean to add on with the ice cream~A must try for sure~

tried both the shio and shoyu ramen but both taste just average. the side dishes are not as nice either.. but the macha ice cream was not bad. but the place is relatively quiet so is not bad to chill out

Great Ice cream and Ramen

This is one of the places that actually served great ramen and mocha ice cream...It's hard to find good mocha ice cream these days as they are often those that are too milky/creamy and lack the green tea flavour....The ramen here is quite nice... love the noodles and the soup~MUST TRY ;)

The waiter that served us was japanese,he was very friendly The ramen potion was quite alot.howere the noodles is disappointing,is a bit hardchashu also hard,soup bases were tasty,For the yakitoriwe were quite disspointed ,is too salty,but i love salty food so is ok for me,but everything was too HARD,gyoza chicken skin is nice but chicken not niceamong all,our favourite was matcha auzki icecream

a bowl of ramen always goes with a plate of crispy gyoza. other than original gyoza, they offer other filling like prawn gyoza. we selected original flavor. the skin is thin and crispy. size is just right. I would say the gyoza sold here is average. not much of the difference compare to other ramen place.

special miso ramen soup is drinkable not too salty. since is miso so the taste is much stronger than shio. portion of ramen is big, able to share between 2 person. large amount of bean sprouts added to the bowl of ramen. those who dislike bean sprouts, do request upon order do not add any. meat is tender not dry at all. egg cooked just nice, I like it. however, the noodles is disappointing, is on the hard side.

Just want to get a taste of their ramen, I ordered a Special Miso Ramen ($15.90). Typical of Sapporo ramen, it came with corn and butter which added a sweet note to the broth. Though the noodles were not springy as I had expected, the robust borth made up for it. The chashu that I had was remarkably melt-in-mouth tender. There were other toppings like bamboo shoots and seaweeds.

Whenever I visit ramen places, gyoza is almost the next must-try after the noodles. The Original Gyoza ($6.80) was disappointing as the skin was too thick and filling too tiny. The sauce for the gyoza was a ingenious mix of shoyuu and vinegar, somewhat helped to enhance a full spectrum of flavours of the otherwise boring dumplings. 9 out of 10 for the sauce and 4 for the thick-skined gyoza.

If you are here for lunch, you may find their 3-course set lunch menu more worth your bucks. Available at $14.80++, it comes with a salad, mini don and medium size ramen.

The serivce staff were warm and friendly that even the chef himself came to serve us personally, a clear sign of a chef taking pride of his work. Well, I shall give a second visit for the kushi during dinner time.

Another yummy ramen? Yup, you bet. I went to Hokkaido about 2 years ago, and miss the cool weather and ramen. Sometimes you wish you can find a piece of it here in Singapore. And this has come true yet again, when Sapporo Ramen Sanomaru sets up the stall here in Singapore. I haven't been to the other location yet, so this branch at 111 Somerset is the first one. Another yummy ramen? Yup, you bet.

I went to Hokkaido about 2 years ago, and miss the cool weather and ramen. Sometimes you wish you can find a piece of it here in Singapore. And this has come true yet again, when Sapporo Ramen Sanomaru sets up the stall here in Singapore. I haven't been to the other location yet, so this branch at 111 Somerset is the first one.

Being a new place, TripleOne Somerset is still undergoing renovation. However, it seems that the discerning consumers sure know where to find the new adventures. When I reached there at 7+pm, there was already a few customers - which is good because it doesn't give the crowded feeling. As I was early, I went window shopping. Someone should check out the kitchen furnishing shop on the same level, and you will feel really humbled.

We ordered Ramen - of course. Regardless of the choice, the soup is light, and not so thick, but delightful. More importantly, it isn't salty compared to a few ramens I tried at Central. The taste is still there and fuses out. We also ordered the agedashi tofu - which has three different toppings (radish, spring onions, and one more which I forgot) and scallops (hmmm, the sauce is too salty). There was a promotion and we were given complimentary fried gyoza. A few reviews commented that it wasn't nice, and the skin was too thick. I won't say it was thick, but "normal". Not quite there to impress, but you can't expect every restaurant to have every dish to reach a heavenly status. It's called a dinner, a nice one, I say. For those who want to have a "wow" meal, check out Dozo. (See my other review)

There was also a UOB credit card promotion where another dish would be complimentary. However, we were full and didn't get the dish.

I took a few photos with my handphone camera. Time to buy a new one, I guess.
